At the age of 18, Takumi Fujiwara wins against all other experienced and older drivers who challenges him. Although he drives an old Toyota AE86, he gains speed by using drifting techniques to turn. Everyone is amazed by what this 18 year old new driver can do with his car. Takumi look as if he is daydreaming all day, but heis actually the best driver in Initial D series. His father, Bunta Fujiwara owns a tofu store and forces Takumi to deliver tofu in early morning with their AE86 since he is young. Bunta places a cup of full water in the AE86's cup holder and expects Takumi to drive quickly without spilling the water. Through the years of driving in Akina Mountain, he develops a dominanating and amazing downhill speed which defeats Rx-7,Skyline R32, Honda Civic EG-6 and even Lancer Evolution IV. |
