After several weeks of searching for a drummer they found a guy by the name of Jesse, who was from a band called "JFI". Jesse was ready and willing to leave all his bands to start a new band.
The band wrote their first song, known as "Unwanted," which was written on an acoustic guitar that was missing two strings. For a whole year the band had trouble finding a place to practice(or being kicked out), therefore there name(The Evikted) was given to them by Beto, Guss's dad.
As time went by, The Evikted jammed out with a friend by the name of Mag, as a second guitarist but moved on to other important things in life. The Evikted played different shows at many locations and were encouraged by a band named The Neurotics, which helped them out as well.
Several months past by and soon it came to a point of demise, almost to the point of breaking up; Guss never showing up to practice, Jesse who had to many things to do and Seven(Johnny) and Beto who were focusing on school were unable to call for a practice.
Finally one day Guss, Beto, Seven(Johnny) and Jesse had a talk about continuing the band. The four agreed on keeping it alive, but before they knew it, it came to some tough decision. Jesse was replaced as well as Beto, in hopes that Beto would one day return as second guitarist when he was ready. Moses (Amerikan)who played Bass and Miguel who played Drums came from a band (LickSkillet) that had just recently broken up at the time. These two came willing to help out Guss and Seven to continue The Evikted, but once again before they knew it Miguel had to quit the band and focus on school. Unexpectedly Mowgli (Ivan) came to the rescue.
As a really good drummer Ivan diaz came from a band know as Chiznump. With his help The Evikted played many shows well still looking for a permanent drummer. Sooner or later Ivan became the permanent drummer for the band. Both Mowgli (Ivan) and Moses (Amerikan) were the missing elements to completing the strongest line up for the band known as The Evikted.
The Evikted will always remember that without Jesse, Beto, Miguel and the support of all our friends and ashes will remain family, The Evikted would not exist, therefore all our love and thanks go out to everyone who had made us possible.
