My Fairy Land
Beyond these grassy fields, great rocks and dusty trails beyond the growth of the white oaktree Moss dangling over trees There lies this fairyland of mine Quite mystical for anyone to behold
Crystal streams as clear as glasses and golden castles hang in the air fig trees of fruit in masses trees with pomegrants the noble knights and fair ladies Will come riding down the lane passes
Ah me! they say if I could stand upon those grassy fields I should but see on either hand Just plain fields and dusty hedges And yet I know my fairie land Lies waiting somewhere o'er their hedges.
