| This is a 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia that I converted to electric power in 1994. It has 16 Optima YellowTop batteries powering an Advanced DC XP-1227 through an Auburn Scientific "Grizzly" controller. A Todd DC/DC converter provides power to all accessories, including a 250 watt stereo. Instrumentation is provided by a Cruising Equipment E-Meter. |
