| Glorfindel's Sword By: WolfPyre Summary: A young Elrond is caught with something he should not have. Note: I have no idea when Glorfindel returned from the Halls of Mandos. So, for my fic, he returned in time to help Gil-galad raise Elrond and Elros. ******** What to you mean I should do it? Elrond yelled at his brother. Are you insane! Glorfindel would kill us if we touched his sword. Not us brother. You. Elros smirked. Do you want Unquello and the others to think you are a coward? Of course not! I am NOT a coward! Then you will have to do it. But why me? Why not you? Because I did not run when Cirdan caught us and our friends climbing off his ship. Elros put an arm around Elrond. This is a test to see if you are still worthy of their friendship. Elrond sighed. He knew if he wanted to have friends he would need to take the risk. All I have to do is take Glorfindels sword and show everyone? I can put it back immediately? Yes. Okay. Ill do it. You and the others wait for me outside the gardens. ~~~ Elrond stood outside Glorfindels room, his heart pounding so hard he was surprised it could not be heard. I can do this. I can do this. He chanted quietly to himself. He took a deep breath and pushed the door open. ~~~ He comes! Elros whispered. Elrond ran into the gardens as fast as he dared, carrying the sword carefully. I have it. Come see! The elflings gathered around and feasted their eyes on the famous sword. They all knew the sword was given to Glorfindel by Mandos himself and found it to be as beautiful as they expected. After a few moments, Elrond stood. I must put it back before Glorfindel returns. I will be in much trouble should he notice it missing and find I was the culprit. He cradled the sword and swiftly carried it back to Glorfindels chambers. He did not expect what he found when he opened the door. ~~~ The sword clanged as it fell to the stone floor. Glorfindel! What are you doing with my sword? He asked quietly, though his anger was apparent in the sternly clipped words. I wasthat is I Elrond was not as quick as Elros when it came to explaining his way out of trouble and could not come up with a reasonable answer. He squirmed under Glorfindels glare and hung his head. You were? Glorfindel prompted in a voice that demanded a truthful answer. Elrond took a deep breath. I wanted to show the other elflings your sword. Even though you are forbidden to touch it without my being present? Yes sir. Glorfindel sat on his bed and called Elrond to his side. This is not like you Elrond. I would expect something like this from Elros, but not you. He took Elronds chin in his hand. Why do I sense there is more that what you are telling me? I told you everything. Elros and Unquello did not put you up to this? Glorfindel asked, knowing from past experience that Elrond only blatantly disobeyed a directive such as this if he was dared by the elflings. I told you everything. He repeated as he could not lie to Glorfindel and would not turn his brother and friend in. You realize I cannot allow this to go unpunished? Yes sir. Then lower your leggings and place yourself across my knee. Elrond did as he was told and jumped when his underclothing was pushed out of the way. Glorfindel had never spanked him on the bare before. Why are you being punished? Because I touched your sword without permission and took it outside. You will not do this again. Am I understood? Yes sir. Glorfindel smacked the backside before him firmly. Again and again his hand rose and fell until Elronds bottom was a uniform red. When he finished, he pulled Elrond into a hug and waited for his sobs to end. I am sorry Glorfindel. I will not touch your sword again. Elrond cried once he was able to speak. I know young one. For if you do you will feel more than my hand. Am I clear? Yes sir. Then we will speak no more about it. He kissed Elronds forehead and set him on his feet. You are to remain in your room until the evening meal. Yes Glorfindel. Elrond hugged him once more and left the room. |
