I want to thank my beta for all of her help.
This is my first attempt at fan fiction please be kind.
It was early in the afternoon on Saturday. Mulder and Scully were spending the weekend with Scully's mother, Maggie.
Maggie and Dana were in the kitchen planning a special supper. They are expecting a special guest - Walter Skinner, whom Maggie has been seeing for some time. They are having fried chicken, mashed potatoes with salad and iced tea. For dessert, they decided on chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
A knock came from the front door and Fox went to answer it. He opened the door to find Bill Scully, Jr. on the doorstep. Bill angrily pushed past Fox. "What the hell are you doing at my mom's house?"
Before Fox can answer, Mrs. Scully answered him. "Fox and Dana are spending the weekend and if you can't be civil, you can leave right now!"
"Don't worry, Mom, I can control myself. I stopped by to see if I could stay here for a few days. Tara is off visiting her parents and brought Mattie with her. The house is a bit lonely without them."
"You don't need to ask, dear. Your old room is always open. Why don't you get settled while Dana and I see to dinner?"
Now that they have an extra mouth to feed, Maggie and Dana decide to head to the grocery store for more chicken and the ingredients for the chocolate cake. They are a bit hesitant about leaving Fox and Bill alone together. The boys promised not to fight, and the ladies leave the house.
Bill sees his mom and sister off, then goes to see what Mulder is doing. He finds Fox in the living room looking at an old college yearbook. One of the pictures he is looking at shows fraternity-type paddles in the background. Bill sees a way he can put a major hurt on Fox.
"You know, Mulder, my friends and I used to play this game to see who was the toughest. We used those paddles and traded licks with each other, until someone cried 'Uncle!'. You know, I took 25 licks once without a sound. My friend called 'Uncle!' way before his 25 were done." Bill looks Fox over. "You probably couldn't take more than five before you wimped out."
"I can take as many licks as you can," Mulder replies hotly. "It's unfortunate we don't have one of those paddles around. I would challenge you to a round."
With an evil grin, Bill left the room and headed to the basement. A few minutes searching turned up his old fraternity paddle. Heading back into the living room, he showed it to Fox. "Here's the paddle and I take you up on that challenge!"
Realizing he is stuck going through the game, Mulder follows Bill into the back yard.
"Since you challenged me, you get to go first. Bend over and put your hands on your knees. We'll start with 15, but feel free to cry 'Uncle!' when you want me to stop."
Fox assumes the position and Bill begins to lay the licks on hard.
Dana and her mother return to find that Mulder and Bill are nowhere to be found. They busy themselves with putting up the groceries, before going to look for them. Maggie is waylaid by a knock at the door. She finds Walter standing on the step, having decided to come over a little early.
"Hi Walter, we are just in the middle of looking for the boys..."
"I found them, Mom! Come to the backyard." Dana's voice carried from the back of the house.
Walter followed Maggie to the back, where they discovered Fox paddling a bent-over Bill.
"Stop!" Walter, Maggie and Dana shouted all together.
The boys were falling all over themselves trying to explain what they have been doing, while the others talked between them. They decided on a plan to put an end to this foolishness once and for all.
The ladies each grabbed Bill and Fox by the ear and quick marched them inside to the living room. They deposited them on the couch, the boys wincing from the paddling they gave each other as they settled. Maggie and Scully then step aside to leave the rest of their plan up to Walter. He steps forward with a stern look upon his face.
"So, you wanted to find out who was the toughest, who could take the most licks without yelling. Well, I can help you out. Only I will be the one to give out the licks. You can continue the challenge or say 'Uncle' and stop."
Mulder and Bill looked towards the other. Neither one wanted to back down in front of the other, so they reluctantly nodded 'yes'.
"All right, then. Stand up, take your jeans off and bend over the couch. I am going to do something you were unable to do."
"What's that?" Fox snapped.
"I am going to make you both yell 'Uncle'."
"Not likely," Bill snarled.
Skinner moved silently to stand behind the boys, reaching to lower their underwear. "I want you to count out the strokes as they fall. If you fail, I might be tempted to double the number."
He raises his arm and began, paddling each in turn while the two men shouted out the numbers together. Smack... smack... "One!" Smack... smack... "Two!" Smack... smack... "Ten!" Smack... smack... "Twenty!"
"No more!" Fox yelled while Bill followed with, "It hurts, it hurts!" Walter continued to paddle the men. Smack... smack... "Twenty-five!"
"Uncle!" They both cried at the same moment.
Walter stepped back to admire his handiwork: both men's backsides were glowing. He thought for moment, the started to remove his belt. "Take your underwear off all the way, and spread you legs further apart. Now comes the punishment. The next time you try a stunt like this, I want you to remember the consequences for you actions. This is going to be a memorable event."
As soon as Fox and Bill are back in position, Skinner proceeded to pepper their behinds and inner thighs with the belt. Both men started yelling and crying, promising anything if the older man would stop. Disregarding their words, Skinner continued until he had painted their backsides and thighs a dark crimson. Pulling them upright, he sends each man to a corner.
"Stand there for an hour and think about what you have done today."
The hour passed in relative silence, broken only by sniffling and small whimpers as the men struggled to stay still. After the hour had gone by, Skinner sent Bill and Fox to their rooms in order to get ready for dinner. The men immediately fell face down on their beds, deciding to miss dinner because of the pain in their backsides.
When dinnertime drew near and the boys did not appear, Walter headed up the stairs to look for them. With a few well-placed smacks, he had them dressed and on their way to the table. "Maggie and Dana prepared a special dinner for all of us, and if you do anything to ruin it - you can expect another licking!"
The dinner turned out wonderfully. Everyone, including Fox and Bill cleaned their plates. Although there was a little squirming to be seen from the boys direction, they managed to hold a polite conversation with each other. Overall, the evening was a success and the pleasantness held for the rest of the weekend.
After dinner on Sunday, Scully and Mulder headed home. Dana drove while Fox lay on the back seat, ruing the day that he let Bill goad him into 'trading licks'.
The End.
