REJUVIE - Chapter Three

    In the morning the three children wearily
walk downstairs.  At breakfast Charles turns to the
three miscreants.

    "We aren't going to ground you
because your about to become children.  But all
three of you have been warned you will be raised
strict.  Even though school has already started you
three will be given a month adjust to being children.
This means you will start school after thanksgiving.
We realize you will remember pretty much
everything you have already learned to this point.
The biggest things you will need to relearn will be
reading, writing, and any physical activities."

    Charled pauses and looks at the three.
"Anything you knew how to do physically
at the age you will be rejuvied to, you will still
know how to do.  Logan will be working with you
to help you relearn things. Now we feel that one of
you should be the age plus one month.  One the
exact age.  The third being one month short of theie
birthday."

    All three look up and nod.  They liked the
idea actually.  They knew sharing a birthday could
hurt them in a way.  Charles looks at Scott and Jean
and he nods.  Scott walks over and gathers Melissa
into a hug.

    "Melissa we decided to make you the
oldest."  Melissa looks up in shock.  "It will give
you a two year gap between you and Charolette."
Melissa nods her head and Scott kisses the top of
her head.  "Ok Melissa you will go in first."

    Three hours later most of the mansion is in
the hallway outside the medlab waiting for word.
All three rejuvenation's had gone well and Hank
along with Doctor McTaggert were doing blood
tests to see their level of inoculations. By supper
time the three children are starting to rouse.  Scott,
Logan, and Charles had all decided to hold the three
children in their laps for their wakeup.  When
Melissa wakes up she looks up into the caring face
of her dad.

    "Daddy.  It worked." She said looking down
at herself.  She looks over at the other two and
gasps as she looks at their small bodies.  Arina
smiles at her and they look at the youngest of the
three.  Remy starts stirring and Charles tightens his
hold on the boy.  He wakes up and looks up at the
professor.  "Daddy?"  The little boy asks.  Charles
nods his head and Remy snuggles into his lap
further.

    Hank and Moira walk over and check all
three children over.  "I'll bet they're hungry.  I had
Storm make something light for them."  All three
adults nod and put their children on their feet.
Melissa immediately starts trying to do different
physical things.  Scott grabs her and swats her once.
Melissa gasps and rubs her bottom.  Thinking that
swat REALLY hurt.  Scott gathers her into a hug.
"Shh it's ok."  They get up and head for the
diningroom.

    When they arrive at the dining room the
whole family is sitting there chatting, and waiting.
Everyone looks up when the group comes in.
Melissa is surprised to see Mystique and Maker
there.  Scott carries her over and Mystique sits her
on her lap.  She cuddles the child rubbing her back.

    Melissa looked up at her and smiles.  "How
long will you be staying here?"

    Mystique kisses the top of her head.  "For a
long time.  Our team has been disbanded.  We have
joined the x-men.  Were going to stay in Jean and
Scott's old room."  Melissa hugs her tightly.

    "That's great mommy.  Can I have some
soda?"  Scott shakes his head and hands her a sippy
cup with chocolate milk in it.

    "I want SODA!"

    Mystique flips her over her knee and spanks
her soundly over her nightgown.  "Owie.  Mommy
'm sorry.  Please stop."

    Mystique stops and turns the child over.
"Shh it's ok.  You need to drink milk for the
calcium.  You still have to grow again."  Melissa
nods her head and sucks on her thumb.  Mystique
smiles and rocks the child.  After a few minutes she
is sound asleep in Mystique's lap.  When everyone
has eaten Scott gently picks up the little girl
carrying her to bed.  While Jean and Scott are
changing the other three Mystique runs a quick face
cloth over Melissa.  She diapers Melissa in
expectation that Melissa will probably not make it
through the night.

    In the morning all three children wake up to
the shock of wearing diapers.  Melissa grumbles
and changes into jeans and a T-shirt.  Just because
they had MADE her buy dresses didn't mean she
HAD TO wear them.  After making a trip to the
restroom she goes down to breakfast.  She finds
both of her parents feeding the younger three.  She
smiles at both of her parents.  After a hearty
breakfast of eggs, sausage and homefries Jean turns
to Melissa.  "I would appreciate if you went and
changed into a dress young lady."

    Melissa scowled but obeyed.  Her bottom
was still a little tender from the spanking from
Mystique the night before.  When she came back
down Scott assisted her into her snow boots and
jacket.  The whole family heads to the mansion.

    Upon their arrival they are met with great
cheer. When they get close enough Scott takes off
at a run at a young man who is literally his twin
except for the blonde hair.  "Alex it is GREAT to
see you. How are you?"  Scott asks excitedly.

    Alex smiles at his brother then at his nieces
and nephew.  Charlotte and the twins run to him
immediately.  Melissa on the other hand hangs back
a little nervous.  Alex looks at her and opens his
arms.  Melissa runs to him immediately.  "Well I
see the rejuvenation went well?"  He asks his oldest
niece.

    Melissa nods and smiles up at him.  Alex
opens the two of the smallest suitcases and pulls out
four packages.  He hands one to each of them.
While the twins go running to Jean, Charlotte
shakes hers.  Melissa warily looks up at Alex.
"Don't worry it's something a 6-year-old would
enjoy.  Go on open it."

    Meanwhile the twins are jumping with glee.
Alex had gotten Christopher a sling shot.  Which of
course angered Scott.  While Keri and Charolette
got jump ropes.  Melissa warily opens it then throws
it down with disgust.  "I might be six but that
dosen't mean I like pokemon."  Alex looks a little
hurt and kneels in front of her.

    "I'm sorry I figured you might like them.  I'll
take them back."  He said with saddened eyes.
Melissa throws her arms around his kneck.  "I'm
sorry uncle Alex.  I shouldn't have said that.  Please
forgive me?"  Scott walks over and puts a hand on
her shoulder.

    Melissa gulps and looks up.  "I know dad i'm
in trouble.  I'm just not into pokemon.  I'll give em
to Remy he'll like em.  I am sorry uncle Alex.  I was
being selfish."  Melissa looked up with tears
gathering in her eyes.

    Alex gathers her back into a hug.  He looks
back up at Scott.  "Don't punish the kid, she dosen't
like pokemon.  I shouldn't have assumed.  I'll take
them back and pick you up something else ok?"  He
asked slightly worried.

    He had never wanted to upset the child.  He
gently rubbed her back and the back of her head.
Alex gently pushes her back.  He turns to Scott.
"Don't punish her.  Please?"  Scott
looks down at Melissa.

    "Alex it is up to you whether you return those packs
and get her something else.
BUT she will be spending until lunch in the corner."
