	It's the day after Christmas and Hank is looking for
Bobby.  He was slightly worried
about the boy.  He had been quite.  Honestly too
quiet.  Sometimes he knew Bobby missed
having a real childhood.  Hank goes up to the attic to
Bobby's favorite hiding spot.  He smiles as
he see's his son curled up in a window near the very
back.  As he approaches Bobby looks up
and smiles.  "Hi dad.  You always know where I am.  I
was just thinking back about how much
my life has changed over the last 15 years."  Hank
smiles and sits down.  "I remember the first
time I found you up here."  Bobby blushes.  "Oh yeah. 
The first time the professor spanked me. 
I couldn't tell the difference between the tannin he
gave me and the beatings my father used to
give me.  I was so worried that he had lied to me. 
That's the first time we really hit it off."  He
chuckles nervously.  "Well until you found out what I
did to him.  Man if his hands hadn't
thawed naturally he could have thawed them on my butt.
 He really paddled me soundly.  It was
so red and sore."  Bobby moves into his lap letting
Beast hug him.  “Well I don’t blame him. 
Even IF they were only frozen for a minute or two that
was to long.  But I helped you through
the grounding he imposed.  Then ended up grounded
myself.”

	Bobby sighs and looks out.  “That was hard learning
the difference.  I know that the
professor tries to be as loving as he can.”  Bobby
looked up shocked at the last statement. 
“What do you mean?”  Hank smiles down at him.  “The
last time I brought you stuff he caught
me.  He scolded and lectured me then grounded me for 2
weeks.  Then when it was over the
next day I took you to the mall for things for your
room.”  Bobby smiled.  “Yeah I remember
being so shocked at the amount of money you were
spending.  Then you told me it was the
professor’s.  When we got home he sat all 5 of us down
and set down some definite rules and
told us about allowances and how we could earn more
money.  It was fun having money
without the danger of being beaten for asking for
money.”

	Hank sighs and lifts his chin.  “I am proud of all
the good things you’ve done.  You went
to my parents house and even though you got spanked
once for too much attitude.  You were
mainly well behaved.”  Bobby blushes and nods.  “Yes
your parents accepted me well also. 
They accepted that you had become a father to me.” 
Bobby hugs Hank tight.  “I love you
dad.”  Hank squeezes him hard.  “I love you too son. 
I love you too.”  An hour later the two of
them head back down.  The whole family is in and about
the house.

	Hank goes over and sits next to Jen.  Jen snuggles
close.  Hank leans down and kisses
the top of her head.  “So did Santa bring you
everything you wanted?”  The teen looks up at her
father.  “Well almost everything.  I’m taking the test
for my licensee in February.  I had hoped
even a junker would have been in my presents.”  Hank
smiles at Bobby over her head.  “Well
we’ll see.  Maybe for you 15th birthday.”  Jen sighs
and nods.  “Hmm your mother and Storm
are making a big pheasant for supper.  Warren’s
parents brought one.  Papa I think I’m in
love.”  Jen says looking over at Warren’s nephew
Richard.  “In love huh?  Jen, munchkin you’ll
rarely see the boy.  Just on the holiday’s.”  Jen
sighs and nods.  “I know.  Your not mad are
you?”  She looks up scared.  She was still having
problems dealing with having a family.  Hank
hugs her close.  “I’m not mad.  I love you too much to
be able to stay mad at you.”  Jen smiles
up at him.  “Thankyou papa.  I love you too.”

	By suppertime everyone was ready for supper than the
movies.  Logan looks up and
smiles.  “We rented a bunch of video’s and DVD’s. 
Most of the visitors leave tomorrow.” 
Alex shakes his head.  “I will probably be a little
while longer I missed my nieces and nephews
growing up.  I don’t want to miss it this time.” 
Melissa blushes bright red.  “Ah uncle Alex. 
You don’t have to on my account.  I got plenty of
aunts and uncles here.”  Alex smiles at her. 
“I’ll be here another week.  The 5 of us will have
fun.  Maybe go to the zoo.  Or the museum.” 
The twins go nuts and Melissa looks at Scott
questioningly.  “Well as long as your chores are
done.  Plus your homework.”  Melissa scowls but nods. 
“Yessir.  I’m almost done as it is.  I
just need to do my collage.”  Jean smiles down at her.
 “That’s not due till a week after school
gets back in session.”  Melissa smiles back.  “I like
to stay ahead.  That way if there’s a movie
on or something I don’t have to worry about homework.”

	After supper is over Melissa goes and does her
collage.  Jean smiles as she finds her
daughter finishing it up.  “Hi Mommy I’m finished.” 
Jean comes in and looks it over.  “Very
good princess.  It’s good enough for an A.”  Melissa
smiles up at her.  “Come on it’s time for a
bath than bed.”  Melissa sighs and follows Jean. 
After a nice relaxing bubble bath Jean puts her
to bed with a kiss and a story. “Night princess.  I
love you very much.  Sweet dreams.”  With
that another day ends in the x-mansion.
