	With Ron out the door Harry sits down with a wince to
eat his breakfast. Sirius and Lupin exchange knowing
looks but don't say anything. Harry eats quietly not
really feeling like talking about anything. "Harry
while we're up at Hogwarts, you boys may go out to the
field and fly if you wish but stay on Hogwarts'
grounds. I don't think I need to remind you what will
happen if you don't." Harry shakes his head. "No sir
you don't need to. I will stay on the grounds. Um I
have never been grounded before. What exactly does it
mean?" Sirius sighs and runs a hand over his face.
"Harry how did your Aunt and Uncle punish you?" Harry
gulps and squirms in his seat. "Cuffs upside the head,
being locked in my room and only being let out once a
day to use the toilet. Stuff like that." Sirius shakes
his head. Harry looks at him worried he is in trouble.
Sirius stands up and kneels in front of Harry. "Son
I'm not angry at you. It's okay. We'll work through
this son. I promise." Relieved, Harry throws his arms
around Sirius' neck. "T-that's a relief Dad. I-I'll
behave and serve whatever you two feel is
appropriate." Sirius sighs and rubs Harry's hair. "You
are not allowed out of your room except for meals and
the bathroom. Exceptions are authorized excursions,
chores, and emergencies. If you break your grounding I
will spank you." Harry nods his head. "Yes Dad. I'll
serve it." Sirius smiles and kisses the side of his
head. Sirius stands up and pulls Harry up. "Come or we
will be late. Harry don't forget to keep Ron in mind
when you figure out the team." Harry nods and stands
up rubbing his sore bottom again. "That cream is so
much. I know I deserve it though." Sirius smiles and
puts an arm around Harry's shoulders. "Go grab your
broom son." Harry runs upstairs and grabs his
firebolt.

	He also grabs his robes. "What? I shouldn't practice
in anything but them. They affect my performance."
Sirius smiles and ruffles Harry's wild hair. "Just
like your Dad. It's all over the place."

	He smiles up at his Dad. "I know. I've seen pictures.
I'm following in his footsteps. I'm the seeker on
Gryffindor's team." Sirius smiles and kisses his scar.
"Just like your Dad. Harry your Dad would be VERY
proud of you." Harry leans against his shoulder and
sighs. "Thanks Dad. That means a lot to me." Lupin
puts a hand on Sirius' arm. "Come on or we'll be
late."

	All three head to the school. When Harry arrives he
immediately goes to Gryffindor's common room. When he
arrives Draco, Crabbe and Goyle are waiting for him.
All three are surprised Ron wasn't with him. "Where's
Ron?" Draco asks surprised. "He's working at his
brothers' store. All the way through the school year
too." Harry shrugs and sits down with a wince. Draco
winces in sympathy. "Did Sirius spank you again?"
Harry blushes and nods. "Ron and I split up when he
told us to stay together. He put some cream on my
bottom that will keep it sore, 'til he puts the
antidote on it. Sitting HURTS. I'll serve my
grounding. I want the antidote." Draco's head snaps
up. "Grounded? Snape grounded me for mouthing back to
Dumbledore. He was ready to tan my butt but Dumbledore
changed his mind." Draco ducked his head. "I'm
grateful for that. I hate being grounded though.
Except for meals I can't leave the common room for a
week." Harry looks at him surprised. "Man that's gotta
suck. Snape must of been mad. I think I made him mad
by disobeying my Dad. They're getting along now."
Draco stood up and walked over to the window. "I
wanted ta FLY today. Hey! How about we use your cloak
to get me out there?" Harry shakes his head. "No way.
If you get caught not only will Snape spank you.
Sirius will spank me." Draco glares at him. "They'll
never know. Come on please?" Harry sighs and nods his
head.

	Draco slips on the cloak. The three other boys grab
their brooms and go out to the field. Once out there
Draco slips off the cloak. After a couple hours it's
time for lunch and they don't keep good enough track
of time. Snape comes out and his eyes go wide when he
sees Draco. "BOYS!" All four look down and Draco
almost falls off his broom. The look on Snape's face
says he's in deep trouble. Draco lands and looks down
at the ground. "I'm sorry Dad. I shouldn't have
disobeyed you." Snape walks over and grabs his chin.
"You're only sorry because you were caught. All four
of you are in trouble. Let's go."

	All four boys follow Snape inside. When they enter
the great hall Harry hangs back. He knows Sirius is
going to be disappointed in him. He sits down and eats
his lunch. All four boys eat quietly not wanting to
anger the men anymore. After lunch Sirius, Snape, and
Lupin come over. All four boys gulp and stand up.
"Come along. Let's go to the common room." All seven
head to the common room and Sirius directs the boys to
the couch. "Okay boys do you want to tell me what you
were doing? Draco?" Draco Malfoy has never felt like
squirming under someone's glare but Snape's glare
scares him. "I-I really wanted to fly so I snuck out
under the invisibility cloak. It was a stupid mistake
and it will never happen again. I'm sorry Dad." He
whispers looking up at Snape. Snape's stern 
expression softens. Draco was actually scared of him.
Snape kneels in front of Draco and takes his chin in
his hand. "You're that scared of me?" Draco's eyes
went wide. "Yessir. You're really mad at me." Snape
sighs and pulls him into a hug. Draco stiffens for a
moment and then relaxes. "I'm not angry anymore. I am
disappointed though. And you are going to be spanked."
Draco sniffles and nods. "I figured that out. I knew
that could happen when I disobeyed you. Please don't
punish the others. It took a lot of convincing to get
them to do it." Sirius sighs and looks at Harry.

	Harry looks up with tears in his eyes. "I-I'm sorry
Dad. It was stupid to let him use it. I know you are
going to spank me. Plus probably extend my grounding.
I'm sorry." Sirius pulls Harry up into a hug. Harry
lays his head gently on his shoulder. Harry sniffles
quietly enjoying the love and comfort. Sirius pushes
him back. "Let's go up to your old dorm room. This is
going to be a harsh punishment son." With a gulp Harry
follows his father upstairs. Sirius walks over to the
nearest bed and sits down on it. "Come on Harry lets
get this over with. I really don't want to do this."
Harry nods his head and walks over to his father. "I
know Dad. I know you hate punishing me. How much
longer am I grounded?" Sirius sighs and pulls him
close. "Two weeks now young man. The cream will make
the strapping hurt more. Okay?" Harry whimpers and
nods. His bottom hurt so much already. "Yessir. Please
keep in mind my butt is still really sore. I couldn't
take another strapping like yesterday by a long shot."
Sirius sighs and wipes away his tears.

	With a heartfelt sigh Sirius takes Harry over his
knee. With a that he pulls Harry's pants down. When
Harry's bottom is bared Sirius gasps. Harry's bottom
is still red and looks painful. Sirius stands him up.
"I can't do it. Your bottom is too red to spank you.
I'm going to put it off 'til tonight after I apply the
antidote. Then I'll strap you. I love you too much to
punish you now." Sirius helps Harry redress and go
downstairs. They sit in the common room until Sirius
turns to him. "Go stand in the corner 'til the others
are ready." Harry looks him surprised. "But Dad." He
whines not really thinking about it. Sirius' reaction
is instantaneous. He pulls Harry over his knee and
swats him a dozen times. When he puts Harry back on
his feet he is amused that his son can't help but do
the spanking dance. Once he has rubbed for a few
minutes Sirius grabs Harry's shoulder and leads him to
the corner. Harry doesn't argue this time as his
father places him facing the corner. After a half hour
he can hear footsteps on the stairs. Snape and Lupin
came down surprised Harry isn't sleeping in the other
room.

	Sirius looks back and gives them a small smile. "His
bottom is too red and sore for another strapping right
now. When we go home I'll put on the antidote. Then
before bed I will strap him soundly. Plus reapply the
pain cream. He is grounded for two weeks now." Snape
nods and looks at Harry sternly. "As is Draco. Crabbe
and Goyle are grounded for one week." Sirius nods and
turns to Harry. "Grab your broom, robes, and cloak.
It's time to go." Harry turns around and picks up his
things without really looking at any of the men. Snape
walks over and raises Harry's chin. "You misbehaved
Harry but you will be punished. I trust your father to
punish you sufficiently." Harry nods his head and then
is shocked when Snape pulls Harry into a hug. Snape
rubs the back of Harry's head gently and kisses his
forehead. "You misbehaved Mr. Potter but you will
learn from it I hope." Harry blushes and steps back.
"Yessir Professor Snape. My father will ensure that."
He says looking at his Dad. Sirius gives him a small
smile and puts his arm around his shoulders. Lupin
takes the cloak and leads Harry down and out of the
castle. The walk back is quiet and when they enter
Hogsmeade Lupin stops. "I will go inform Ron to meet
us at home for dinner. Don't be too hard on him Sirius
the antidote might heal the bottom but it doesn't heal
the heart." Sirius nods and gives Harry a one armed
hug.

	After they get home. "Harry I want you to go to your
room. I will be there shortly." Harry nods and goes up
to his room. A few minutes later Sirius walks in with
the container of antidote. He is surprised to find his
son in the corner. Sirius sits down on the bed. "Come
here son." Harry walks over and sits down gingerly
staring at his lap. "Son I want you to know you can
talk to me about anything. Even if you feel I'm being
mean or too strict. As long as it is done in a
respectful way I will listen." Harry nods and lays his
head on his father's arm. "I'm sorry Dad. I guess
Dudley is right I don't deserve a family." Sirius
stands up so fast Harry falls over onto his side on
the bed. Sirius paces the room. He can't believe
anyone could say that. He hear a very meek and scared,
"Dad?" Sirius looks over to see Harry laying there
scared with tears running down his face. With a small
whimper Harry rolls onto his stomach burying his face
in his teddy bear. Sirius can't stand the tears and
walks over and rubs Harry's back. "Shh son. You
deserve a loving family. And you have one." Harry
sniffles and looks up at his Dad. "T-thanks Dad. I
love you too. I wish you had raised me. I would have
had a better life." Sirius sighs and pulls Harry into
his lap. "Me too son. Me too." 

	When Lupin comes back he searches for them and finds
Sirius sitting against the headboard of Harry's bed.
In his arms is a sleeping Harry. Sirius looks up and
gently stands up laying Harry in the bed. He pulls
down his son's pants and underwear and applies the
antidote. A slight whimper and moan escape the young
man but he doesn't wake. Sirius sighs and rubs his
back to make sure he is asleep. With a final kiss to
his son's scar he leaves the room. Both men go down
and fix supper. "I wish I could torture those muggles
like they did Harry." Lupin lays a gentle hand on his
shoulder. "Sirius. Yes he has been through a lot. But
he's still a good kid. Even after all he's been
through he has a kind heart. He loves you immensely
Sirius." They're interrupted by Ron entering and
giving them a smile. "Evenin'. Where's Harry?" Sirius
sighs and motions for Ron to sit down. Ron looks at
the seat and shakes his head. He had spent a good
portion of the day sitting on his sore bottom. "Ron
SIT!" It isn't a request anymore so he obeys it.
Sirius and Lupin sit down also and look at Ron.

	"Ron, Harry decided to help Draco break his
grounding. I let him off of the spanking because of
the condition of his bottom. We came back here and
talked about it and Harry cried himself to sleep after
the emotional outpouring." Ron nodded his head.
"Yessir. Do you still plan on spanking him?" Sirius
sighs and nods. "Yes. He needs to learn obedience. You
two and Hermione have gotten away with breaking too
many school rules the last five years. This year will
be different." Ron ducks his head. He had received
similar scoldings from his father before he turned him
over his knee for a spanking. "Yessir." He whispers.
Lupin gives Ron a one-armed hug and kisses the top of
his head. "It'll be okay Ron. Yes, we will be strict
with you. But just like your parents we love you." Ron
looks up shocked. "You guys care for and love me?"
Lupin pulls Ron into his lap cradling him close. "Ron
you're family. I know it's been hard being the
youngest of six boys." Ron snorts and then yelps as
Lupin plants a swat on his bottom. "Yessir it has
been." Lupin smiles at him. "But that's why you're
staying here. After losing their oldest sons, they
needed time to grieve. That is also why Ginny is
staying with Hermione." Lupin sighs they had planned
on telling Ron eventually but were waiting for a good
time. He nods to Sirius and he gets the paperwork.
"Ron your parents signed custody of you over to me.
Legally I am your guardian and if you wish your
father." Ron's eyes go wide. "B-but why. My parents
don't love me no more?" Lupin shakes his head. "Ron
your father was very seriously injured in one of the
battles with Luscious Malfoy. Your mother is very busy
caring for him. Percy is helping when he can." Ron
stands up and paces the room. "Why didn't anyone tell
me that? And does Harry know?" Lupin sighs and motions
him closer. "We planned on telling you last night
until you got in trouble. Yes Harry knows. When we
bought the house we had only planned on three people
and so we turned the fourth bedroom into a study for
Lupin. But when we get a chance that will become your
room." Ron looked up grateful. "Wow and it's not at
the top of some ready to fall over tower either. Can I
decide how to decorate it?" Lupin smiles and pulls him
sitting into his lap. "Yes you may. You and I will be
taking a trip into the muggle world to buy you some
clothes and stuff. Then you can pick what you want
from the muggle world and we'll go to Diagon Alley and
get some wizard stuff." Ron nods his head burying his
face in Lupin's armpit. Sirius clears his throat
loudly and Ron looks up. "When Lupin is under the
influence of the moon I have custody. And I am head of
Gryffindor house. You and Harry will be well behaved
young men if you wish to sit for the year." Ron nods
and smiles when Harry comes downstairs.

	Harry sits down and yawns. "I see they told you
finally." He says with a smirk. It was nice to see Ron
happy. Ron blushes but doesn't get up. It feels nice
being cuddled. Lupin sighs and smoothes back his hair.
"Ron I need to finish supper. Come on and don't even
THINK about trying to not sit." Ron pouts but obeys.
Harry chuckles and looks at him. "So how was your
first day?" Ron smiles and shifts again with a wince.
"It was okay. The store's not open yet so we're
figuring out where to put things. Fred and George were
wondering if Harry could come help tomorrow." Both
fathers exchange a look. Harry was in more trouble
today than he was yesterday. Harry looks up with a
pleading look at his father. "Please Dad. It will be
work and it will keep me out of mischief." Sirius
sighs. He knows Harry is right. "Harry can go, but
Ron, tomorrow you and Lupin are going to the muggle
world." Sirius turns to Lupin glaring at him. "You
told Fred and George that when you told Ron about
coming home for supper right?" Harry and Ron are
surprised when Lupin blushes and drops his chin. "I
forgot Sirius. I'll send Pig after supper." Sirius
sighs and walks over and whispers in his ear. "We will
discuss this before bed." Lupin nods his head.

	Harry and Ron share a confused look then shrug. "Now
boys I think an early bedtime will be part of being
grounded. So 10 PM bedtime. After you do the dishes.
And clean up the pig sty you call a room." Both boys
nod and Lupin puts supper on the table. It's not as
fancy as Hogwarts but it's good. After supper Harry
and Ron do the dishes without complaint. Once Harry is
sure they're out of earshot. "What was up with that
interaction. I'd swear my Dad was gonna spank your
Dad. You don't think he does, does he?" Ron's face
goes white at that thought. If his father could be
spanked in his 30's than graduating from Hogwarts
wouldn't get his bottom out of danger. "Man that
sucks. That means we could still be subject to
spankings after we graduate from Hogwarts. Just my
luck." Harry sighs and looks out the window. "Yeah I
know. You know it's going to be weird not having
McGonagall as the Head of Gryffindor house. My Dad
will probably be just as strict." Ron nods. He knows
Sirius would be strict with everyone. The two of them
especially. After the dishes are washed both boys go
to their room to clean it. As they're cleaning Pig
shows up with the letter. Ron sighs and goes to
Lupin's room. He knocks and his father lets him in.
"Pig dropped this off." He says handing it to his
father. A few seconds later Harry runs in. "News from
Dumbledore. Plus our OWLS reports are in. Where's my
Dad?" Sirius steps out of his room and gives Harry a
small smile. "Right here. Why don't we go to your room
to discuss how you did and then it's bedtime." With a
groan Harry follows him. Sirius pulls out the desk
chair and motions to the bed. "We have three things to
do son. One we need to discuss this letter from
Dumbledore. Two we need to discuss how you did on the
OWLs. Three you still have a strapping coming." Harry
nods his head and Sirius scans the letter from
Dumbledore and puts it aside. He picks up the OWLs
report and looks it over. He smiles and looks up at
Harry. Harry is so nervous he doesn't look up. Sirius
stands up and sits down next to Harry. He gives Harry
a hug and kisses his scar. "Oh Harry you got 28 out of
30. I'm VERY proud of you." Harry looks up shocked and
throws his arms around Sirius' waist. Sirius smiles
and pulls Harry so he is sitting on his lap. A second
later Ron runs in. "I got 25. That's better than Percy
did. How'd Harry do?" Sirius smiles and meets Lupin's
eyes. "Harry got 28. I think I will release you both
from one week of grounding." Harry looks up shocked
and Ron looks at his Dad and Lupin nods. Both boys hug
their fathers with comments of, "Thanks Dad" and "No
problem son." exchanged. Sirius reaches over and shows
Harry the letter. Harry sits up shocked. "I got the
highest marks out of the boys. So I get an award."

	Harry unfurls the rest of it and there's a private
note from Dumbledore. "Hmm Dumbledore says Hermione
got the highest score for the girls. There will be a
special dinner in the teacher's private dining room in
one week. Wow. He says that I can bring two guests.
Um." Harry looks up. His Dad is one and he can't
decide between Ron and Lupin. He looks at Lupin. "If
you don't mind I'd like to take Ron, Professor." Lupin
smiles and lays an arm over Ron's shoulders. "That
isn't a problem Harry. But Sirius and I talked about
this. Except in school you can call me Uncle Lupin.
While Ron can call Sirius Uncle Sirius." Both boys nod
and Lupin hugs Ron tighter. "Now you two need to talk
about Harry's helping Draco break his grounding and
Ron needs to think about what he wants to get for his
room." 

	Harry nods and stands up. He closes the door and
walks back over to his father. "I'm sorry sir. It was
inappropriate and naughty." Harry reaches down and
unbuckles his belt removing it from his jeans. He
hands it to his father as he lowers his jeans and
underwear getting over his father's knees. Sirius
sighs and rubs his son's back. "I'm sorry this is
necessary son. Just remember when this is done I still
love you." Sirius raises the belt and brings it down
hard. Harry gasps and kicks his feet a little. After
about five minutes of constant, painful strapping
Harry throws his hand back. "P-please Dad no more. It
hurts so much." Sirius shakes his head and pulls his
arm up to the middle of his back. Sirius continues to
strap his son until his bottom is a bright red and
Harry has stopped struggling. Sirius puts Harry's belt
down on the bed and lays his son down on the bed also.
He stands up and takes out the cream. Harry looks back
over his shoulder and rolls over onto his back to
protect his bottom. "Please Dad don't." He begs with
tears flowing down his face. Sirius sighs and sits on
the edge of the bed reaching out to smooth his hair.
"Son you deserve this. So turn over before I decide to
use the hairbrush on your sore bottom first." Harry
whimpers and turns over. He didn't want to be spanked
with the hairbrush as well. Sirius sighs and delivers
a dozen swats to his bottom. Harry cries harder as his
bottom is ignited even hotter. "Sorry Dad. Please
don't spank me anymore." Sirius sighs and rubs his
back. "Shh that's for rolling over. Now I'm going to
rub the cream in." Sirius grimly rubs the cream into
Harry's sore bottom causing fresh tears. After the
cream is rubbed in he walks to Harry's dresser and
pulls out a pair of pj's. He walks back over to his
son who is falling asleep. "Come on son lets get you
into your pj's. Then you can go to bed." Sleepily
Harry sits up and changes into pj's. Sirius smoothes
his hair and kisses his scar as he tucks him in. "Good
night son. I love you." Harry yawns and nods. "I love
you too Dad."
