Thursday Morning
Before Ron, Harry, Draco leave Hogsmeade, Lupin pulls
Ron aside  "I want you to behave over the next three
days. I will be going down to the cellar after supper.
If you misbehave, I will spank you Sunday morning."
Lupin warns. Ron gulps and nods. "Yes Dad. I will do
my best."

A few minutes later the three boys apparate
to Hogsmeade. With a sigh the three boys go to the
shop. When they enter, the twins are baking goods.
"Hey boys. Did the girls arrive alright?" Harry
nods and sits down. "OK we have a holiday next Monday
so we won't be open." Harry's head snaps up. "What
holiday?" The four boys turn to him. Ron smacks his
forehead. "He was raised by muggles. It's Merlin's
birthday. All wizards celebrate it. We're going to
visit my parents. I think Sirius said something about
you two, Snape and him going to visit your parents'
graves." Draco sneers. "I hope it doesn't include a
trip to see my ex-father." Ron smacks him upside the
head. "Do you think Snape would do that to you?" Draco
drops his gaze to the floor. "No Dad wouldn't. He
knows it still hurts." Harry gives him a quick hug. 

"Your Dad  loves you to pieces Draco." Draco nods and
looks at the twins sheepishly. "I'm sorry, that
wasn't appropriate behavior. Please don't tell my
Dad." Fred sighs and ruffles his hair. "It was a minor
mistake. No worries." Draco nods and smiles.

When the shop is closed the boys apparate
back to the Manor. When they enter they're not
surprised to find Hermione with her nose buried in a
book, but so is everyone else. "We're trying to find
the spell to fix her legs. Grab a couple of books and
help." All three boys groan but start looking. By
supper time they finally find it. "Here it is." Ron
shouts. He brings it to his father. Lupin looks it
over and turns to Snape. "It's a potion. Can you put
it together? It's not too complicated. You'd do the
best on it." Snape nods then thinks about it, then
turns to Goyle.

"How about some extra credit." He looks it over. "How
about Hermione helps you." Goyle nods and Hermione
grabs the book. "We need some supplies I know we don't
have most of this stuff."

Snape sighs and looks at the list. "I will
need to go to Hogwarts and get some of these things."
Hermione looks up. "Why don't you just send Profesor
Dumbledore an owl? It'll be faster."  Snape shakes his
head. "No I'm sorry I wouldn't trust an owl with some
of this stuff. I will be back." He gives Draco a quick
hug. "Would you like to come with me son. It would be
nice." Draco smiles and nods. "Sure Dad."

Snape and Draco apparate to Hogsmeade and walk up to
Hogwarts.  When they arrive at the school Snape gets
his supplies. Draco wanders around and sighs and as he
enters the Gryffindor common room. The room doesn't
have it's normal noise it would have at this time of
night. When Snape finds him in there. Snape smiles
when he finds Draco curled up in a chair watching the
sun set.

Snape walks over and sits in the other chair. "Are you
okay son?" Draco sighs and looks at him. "I miss my
Mom." 

Snape smiles and hugs him close.  "Well, we might have
someone who will at least be close to being a mom.
Sirius will possibly be getting married." 

Draco smiles and nods. "Sure Dad. Let's go home."
When they arrive home Hermione and Goyle have started
the potion. While the potion is simmering everyone
sits down to supper. Harry looks up at his father. 

"So there's a holiday Monday.  What are the plans?"
Sirius sighs and looks at Snape. "Harry you, myself,
Snape, Draco, and Lupin will be going to visit the
graves of your parents and Draco's mothers.  Ron and
Ginny are going to visit their parents. Crabbe, Goyle,
Hermione, and Jen will be going up
to Hogwarts to help keep an eye on some of the
youngsters staying there. We should all be back in
time for the feast in the great hall." All nod their
heads in agreement. "After supper Jen can take the
potion. Now Jen I'm sorry to say but when you go home
over the summers you will need to pretend you're still
crippled. If you stay here with us you can remain
normal." Jen nods her head and they finish eating. 
Crabbe and Goyle do the dishes without prompting.

Once they join the others in the living room Jen is
given the potion. "I realize it isn't pleasant but it
will help." Hermione says gently. Jen nods and takes
it quickly. After she has taken it, Hermione helps her
to stand. "Let's make a double line so that we can
catch her just in case." Harry recommends. They all
line up with Sirius at the end.

Jen takes a few tentative steps, then starts to walk
faster until she is running.  She runs into Sirius'
waiting arms.

After a few minutes of being hugged tightly she moves
back. Sirius smiles down at her and kisses the top of
her head. "That was a good job child. I am proud of
you." Jen smiles back and walks over to the table.
"Hermione, can you tell me how to use the owl again. I
wanna send my parents a letter." Hermione nods and
looks at Harry. "Can she borrow Hedwig?" Harry nods
and goes to the small sitting room that in which they
had put the owl cages.

He picks Hedwig up and carries her to the living room.
Hermione has helped Jen write her letter. When Harry
comes back Jen attaches her letter to Hedwig.  Harry
sits down and speaks to Hedwig.  "This is going to be
a long flight. Are you up to it?" Hedwig hoots and
nods. "All right girl, safe travels."

After Hedwig leaves everyone sits down work on
projects or play games.  Sirius smiles as Jen teaches
the boys how to play a muggle card game called Go
Fish. "I'll teach you some of the more complicated
games later on." All four nod and Hermione comes over
and joins them. Jen goes over the rules one more time.
"Remember you can only ask ONE person. If you get a
card from the person or if you draw that same card you
can go again." Two hours later Sirius goes over and
smiles. "Jen it's 11 PM bedtime for you." Jen pouts
but nods. "Night everyone."

Hermione follows her up and sits with her for a few
minutes. Jen looks at her cousin. "For the first time
in my life, I'm able to walk.  It's nice!"  Hermione
nods and tucks her in. "Goodnight little cousin."
Hermione starts the fireplace up and leaves the room.
When she arrives downstairs the boys have stopped
playing and Harry and Draco are curled up next to
their fathers. 

Sirius looks up and smiles at Hermione while lazily
running his hand through Harry's hair. Hermione goes
over and sits next to Ron. "So the adoptions went
okay?" Sirius nods and fingers Harry's scar. 

Harry looks up and smiles. "I wish I could have it
removed. With Voldemort dead I want it gone." Sirius
sighs and runs the back of his fingers along
his cheekbone. "I'm sorry, curse scars never
disappear. It's a fact of life." Harry sighs and nods.


It has been a hard day and Harry stands up. "I'm going
to bed. If I don't, you'll have to carry me up Dad."
Sirius nods and Harry goes up. Fifteen minutes
later Sirius comes up and tucks him in. "I love you
son. Pleasant dreams."

Sirius leaves Harry's room and heads back downstairs. 
As he passes the games room, in which are Draco,
Crabbe and Goyle, Draco looks up.  "Dad said that we
should come in here because you two needed to talk to
Ron and Hermione." Sirius nods and continues on. Snape
is standing looking out the window. When he hears
Sirius enter he turns. "They have not been informed of
the rules of their dating. I felt we should tell
them." Sirius sighs and looks at the two teenagers.
Ron was his responsibility when Lupin was locked in
the cellar. "You two may date as long as: 1) You never
are alone in each others room; 2) Your grades don't
slip; 3) You don't ignore everyone else in your
lives;and 4) Neither of you is
grounded. These are the rules while here and at
school. We will not watch you 24/7. We shouldn't have
to.  You're both old enough to know better.  Hermione
your cat will be coming tomorow along with an early
birthday present for Ron from the boys." Both look up
happy. "What is it?" Ron asks excitedly.  Sirius
laughs and shakes his head.  "You'll just have to wait
Ron."

Friday
In the morning Ron keeps trying to ask everyone what
he is getting. No one, of course, will tell him. After
asking Harry he huffs into a dining room table chair.
Snape glares at the boy. "That'll be
enough Mr. Weasley. You can plant your nose in that
corner."  Ron glares back and stomps over there. Snape
comes up behind him, bends him over slightly and
spanks him 25 times. Ron yelps then clenches his
teeth. When he finishes the spanks Snape stands him
back up and faces him into the corner. "Hands on your
head." Grudgingly Ron complies.

After everyone else is done, Snape realises Ron.  "All
right Ron eat, then you three need to leave." Ron
walks over and sits down with a yelp. He eats with
pretty much no other sounds. After he is finished he
pulls on his robes and walks out the door. Sirius
follows him worried. He finds Ron sitting on the bench
out back with Harry and Draco on either side. Sirius
can see him reach up to wipe his eyes once or twice.
He walks over and lays a gentle hand on his shoulder.
Ron looks up and turns back around. Harry sighs and
looks up. "He feels Uncle Snape was mean. As were you
for not stopping him."  Sirius lifts the teenager up
to a standing position. He then sits down pulling the
boy into his arms. "Ron you misbehaved. I think Snape
was more than fair." Ron sniffles and nods. "I know I
just can't seem to get it through my head. My Dad'll
be disappointed in me." Sirius sighs and hugs him. "He
might, he might not. He will be out the day after
tomorow in the morning. Snape cares about you, that's
why he punished you." Ron nods and stands up. "I know
Uncle Sirius. We need to go or we'll be late." All
three boys apparate to Hogsmeade.

After a long day Ron sits down in back and lays his
head on the table. Harry walks over and hugs him.
"What's wrong Ron?" Ron looks up with a sigh. "I don't
want to go home and face Snape. He was SO mad." Harry
shakes his head.  "You have to eventually, you know.
Come on or we'll be in trouble." All three apparate
back to the Manor. As they walk in the puppy gets
loose and runs over. Ron looks down at the little
cocker spaniel puppy with a bow on its head. Ron
kneels and pulls the bow.attached to the end is a
label. 

"To Ron from his loving family." Ron looks up into the
eyes of his family. Harry and Draco have slipped
around to stand next to their fathers.

After many hugs of thanks Ron sits down and plays with
his puppy. When it's suppertime Snape has to pick the
puppy up and grab Ron's ear to get him to the table.
"Ouch, I'm sorry. I'm coming, I'm coming." Snape
deposits Ron in his seat and the puppy at his water
and food bowl.

After supper Ron takes the puppy for a walk with Harry
and Draco. "Thanks you guys. I think I'll call him
Vold short for Voldemort. That way no one will mess
with him." Harry and Draco exchange a nervous look.
"You better run that by Snape and Sirius first." Ron
sighs and nods. "I can't wait until Sunday morning. My
Dad'll be out and about. I miss him. I don't think he
would have punished me like Snape did." Draco sighs
and shakes his head. "My father might be strict but he
does care."

All three boys and the dog go back to the Manor.   Ron
goes up to his room. He grabs a quill and parchment.
He is going to send out three letters. One
to his parents, one to the twins, and one to Percy. 

After finishing them he and Vold go downstairs.
"Harry, Hermione can I borrow your owls? I want to
send out three letters." Harry and Hermione nod. 
"Sure Ron. You want to tell everyone about Vold?" 
Harry asks with a smile. Everyone but Draco looks at
Ron strangely. "Vold?" Snape asks surprised. "Um it's
ah short for Voldemort sir."  Snape looks at Ron
sternly. "Not funny Mr. Weasley." Ron sighs and looks
at Sirius. "It's not supposed ta be funny. It will be
a way to make people pay attention." Everyone chuckles
or laughs and Sirius  gives Ron a hug. "OK Ron.  A
reminder everyone except Jen has homework. Jen, Snape
is going to give you some basic potions lessons. Just
try your hardest and we will be happyand proud." Jen
smiles and nods.

By bedtime Jen is doing some simple potions. "Wow,
this is inteersting . I think I'll likeyour class."
Snape nods. "I think with your biology background you
will do well in my class. Tomorow night will be
Transfiguration. That will be taught by Sirius. But
it's bedtime now.  Go get ready for bed. Someone will
come to tuck you in." Jen nods and goes up. A half
hour later Sirius comes up to check on the girl. Jen
smiles up from her book. On one side of her is
Crookshanks and a smaller kitten. "Oh you haven't met
my kitten. This is Mittens. He'll turn one in December
. I got him for my birthday last June. He's a tuxedo
breed. He doesn't mind dogs." Sirius smiles and tucks
the young girl in. "Goodnight Jen. You may sleep in
tomorow. We'll get you flying tomorow." Jen looks up
shocked. "How? I don't have a broom?" 
Sirius smiles. "You can use Ron's old broom. It will
give you a head start on the others. All right, it's
time for bed." Sirius tucks her in more securly and
kisses her forehead. "Jen, I know this is hard for
you. First you find out you're a witch and now you're
in another country. If you ever want to talk just come
find me okay?" Jen nods and falls asleep.

Saturday

When morning comes Hermione makes a suggestion at
breakfast. "Can Jen and I go to Hogsmeade? Then maybe
Hogwarts." Sirius shakes his head. "No, Jen is going
to learn how to fly. Plus there are chores to do. Just
because we have house elves does not mean you can get
lazy." Harry, Ron and Draco share a somewhat happy
smile. "You boys should hurry to get to work. Monday
will be an emotional day for all three of you." 

All three boys nod and apparate to Hogsmeade. Ron has
Vold in his arms and brings him into the shop. Fred
and George oh and ah over the puppy. "He's a beautiful
puppy. What did you name him?" Ron starts laughing as
the puppy licks his face. "Vold short for Voldemort.
He's a great puppy." All five work diligently and
after the store is closed the boys and dog go home.
After a quiet supper the boys play some pool and then
go to bed.

Sunday morning

In the morning Lupin is up and after breakfast he
grabs Ron's shoulder gently.  "Come on son, let's go
to your room." Ron stands up and hugs his dad. "I
missed you the last three days Dad.  I really missed
you." Lupin nods and hugs him back. "I know son. It's
hard for me also. I hate having to leave you for three
days at a time. But there isn't anything I can do
about it. Let's go discuss your behavior.

When they arrive Lupin sits down pulling Ron in front
of him. "You misbehaved once over the last three days.
You know better than that."  Ron nods his bowed head
slightly. "Please don't be angry Dad.  I was punished
for it." Lupin sighs and lifts his chin. "You were
punished but you should know you will be punished
again." Ron gulps and tries to pull his chin out of
his father's grip. "You wouldn't have tanned me for
it. He was just being mean." Lupin drops Ron's chin in
shock. Ron wipes his eyes and then looks up. "I'm
sorry Dad. Go ahead and yell at me. Spank me. Please
do something?" Lupin sighs and pulls him close.  "Ron,
Snape punished you fairly. You would have been lucky
to get off with 25 swats if I had been there. Plus it
wouldn't have been my hand." Ron groans and nods.
"Yessir. What are you going to do? Another tanning,
being grounded, extra chores?" Lupin sighs and pushes
him back. "I'm going to give you a strapping you won't
soon forget. Not just for being a pain. But also for
arguing with Snape."

With that Lupin sits down and pulls Ron to his right.
"Give me your belt and bare it." Ron gulps and obeys.
"I'm sorry I disappointed you father. If you can
forgive me I'll do my best to make you proud." Lupin
surprises him by pulling Ron onton his lap. "Oh Son,
of course I can forgive you. I love you too much not
to. Plus you make me proud every day. You have grown
up so much since I left the school. You are a great
person. You make me proud every day Son. Every day."
Ron looks up surprised. He hugs Lupin hard. "Thanks
Dad."

Ron stands back up, hands his father his belt and
drops his pants and underwear.  With a slight tug to
Ron's wrist Lupin pulls him over his lap. "I'm sorry
this is necessary. I will put the cream on also after
I'm done." Ron groans and nods. "Yessir. A-am I
grounded also?"  Lupin shakes his head. "Yes Son. 
Though just today.  Also I won't guarantee that your
parents won't do anything. You have been very
naughty."  With that said Lupin starts in on his son's
bottom. 

Ron gasps and kicks feebly as his bottom is turned a
bright red. Ron starts kicking with more vigor as he
travels down to his thighs. "No please Dad, no more.
I've learned my lesson. Please stop." Lupin continues
to blister his bottom. When Ron's bottom is a glowing
red Lupin stops. He sighs and picks up the cream and
rubs it in. Ron whimpers and squirms a little. When
it's rubbed in Lupin turns him over. "Shh your
punishment is over. I love you Son." Ron nods and then
falls asleep.

After tucking Ron into bed for a nap, Lupin
goes down to the living room. Everyone looks up
worried. "Yes I strapped him soundly. He will wear the
cream till Tuesday at least. I will bring him up
a sandwich later. I grounded him today though." Sirius
sighs and gives his shoulder a squeeze. "Don't feel
bad. He deserved every swat." Lupin nods and sits down
to read a book. Lupin turns to Harry. Would you feed
and walk Vold please?" Harry nods. After
Harry takes care of the dog he and Draco go and play
pool and other games in game room.

That night they have a quiet supper. After
everyone gathers in the living room Draco slips out.
Harry sees Draco slip out and after a few minutes
follows him.  Harry finds Draco in his mother's sewing
room. When he walks in he can here Draco comment. "I
should have been a Hufflepuff like you Mom. Father
wouldn't have liked it but who cares." 
Harry can see him reach up and wipe his eyes.

"Draco." Harry says quietly. Draco looks up and sighs.
"My mother was a Hufflepuff. If my bastard of a father
hadn't corrupted me I might have been a Gryffindor
from day one. Than we might have been friends already.
I really regret everything I've done to you. Snape has
told me that I am to apologize to Hagrid the first day
of Care for Magical Creatures class. That and tell him
I've been spanked for it. I hope Hagrid can forgive
me." Harry snorts. "He'll forgive ya Draco. He knows
you proved yourself. You helped defeat Voldemort. Plus
you could have helped Lucious to escape." Draco smiles
and nods.

When Snape comes looking for both boys he finds them
talking. "Boys, it's time for bed. Come on, you can
sleep in on tomorrow." Both boys nod and go upstairs
to bed. Snape follows Draco upstairs. He waits outside
the room while Draco gets into his pjs.  Once he's
sure Draco's ready for bed Snape walks in. Draco is
laying in bed waiting for his father. Snape sits down
on the bed and brushes his hair out of his son's face.
"I know you and Harry talked about your mother. I want
you to know if you ever want to talk about her. I'm
always here for you. She may have been a Hufflepuff
but I knew her pretty well. Along with your father
before he was totally corrupted. I'm here for you Son
Because I love you." Draco sniffles and nods. Snape
reaches out and gathers him into a hug. "Shh Son, it's
okay. I will always love you. Nothing you can do will
ever change that."
