Title: Harry Potter: A New Family Chapter 19
Notes: I found the actually date of Ron's birthday and
it's March 1st. So there will be a combined party for
both Harry and Ron soon. I am assuming the birthday
for everyone but Ron, Harry, and 
Hermione.

Monday night

	When Snape comes down to the kitchen Lupin is
explaining the fact that Martha hadn't listened to the
boys.  The four adults had all agreed
if a child was too harshly punished or wrongfully
punished by one of them, then they faced the cane. 
"Wait, Goyle WAS paddled in class." Snape says
interrupting their thoughts. Sirius sighs and gives
Martha's hand a squeeze. "The three of us discussed it
and unless you disagree, her punishment won't 
include the cane this time. She has agreed to a sound
paddling,
followed by a half-hour on the 18+ seat, and being
grounded for a week. Instead of the cane, she will
apologize to Goyle in front of the class for punishing
him when he was innocent. After all, the entire class
witnessed his punishment, her punishment should also
be witnessed by the class, but we don't think caning
her in front of the class is appropriate." Snape nods
his head andwatches as Sirius and Martha leave the
room.

	After leaving the kitchen Sirius leads Martha over to
the implement cabinet. "I want you to go stand in the
corner holding the adult cane to remind you that you
JUST avoided it. Then I will take the paddle to you." 
Martha takes the cane and Sirius squeezes her hand
and hugs her. "I still love you Martha. But as Lupin
pointed out you're my fiancé and therefore it's my
responsibility to punish you." Sirius says giving
Martha another heartfelt 
squeeze.

	Martha walks over to the corner holding the cane in
front of her. The time spent reflecting is well
spent. Martha holds the cane and thinks about how much
it would hurt. She knows the three men are
disappointed in her. Sirius especially. After a
half-hour Sirius calls her out.

	Martha puts the cane away and walks over to Sirius.
Sirius pulls her so she is standing in front of him.
"I love you Martha and I hope this
paddling teaches you a good lesson." With a small nod
Martha places herself over Sirius' knees. "I realize
you probably haven't been spanked in years but please
do try to keep still." Sirius says gently raising her
skirt and lowering her panties. Sirius begins with his
hand. He wants to lead her into it a little.  After 25
spanks or so he pauses to pick up the paddle.

	After taking a deep breath Sirius snaps the paddle
down over and over again. He didn't plan on 
raising too many blisters. Just enough to remind her
that she needed to get all the facts before 
passing judgement. When the blisters start forming,
Martha's
resolve breaks and she throws her hand back trying to
cover her bottom, while begging, "P-please 
Sirius I'm sorry. Please stop." Sirius grabs her wrist
and traps it at the center of her back. "I know you
are
Martha and I'm sorry this is necessary." Sirius
continues until she is limp and crying very hard.

	Sirius puts the paddle down and turns her over into a
forgiving hug. "Shh Martha, it's okay. Your spanking
is over and I still love you." Martha nods and starts
calming down. "I'm really sorry Sirius. There was no
excuse for that. I'm really sorry." She mumbles
standing up. "Do I still have to sit in the corner?" 
Sirius nods and helps her sit down. She wails when her
bottom touches the seat. Sirius gives her a quick hug
and then sits on the couch. He waves his wand and a
glass of wine appears in his hand. Sirius takes a long
drink and then watches the clock. After
a half-hour Sirius helps Martha to stand. Martha
collapses in his arms crying hard. Sirius holds her
closer comforting her. "Shh Martha you've served your
punishment." When Martha's tears slow Sirius helps her
up to bed.   He uses his wand to change both of them
into bedclothes and falls asleep with her in his arms.


When morning comes Sirius goes to Harry's room, seeing
Snape
walking into Draco's room and Lupin into Crabbe and
Goyle's room. Sirius sighs and wakes Harry up. "Come
on
son time to get up." Harry rubs his eyes and yawns. 
"Hi Dad. Why didn't you just let my alarm wake me?" 
Sirius sits on Harry's bed and pulls his son over his
knees. "Oh no, not another spanking PLEASE!" Harry
begs squirming. Sirius lowers his sleeping pants. "We
decided to put you on punishment instead of applying
the cream. You are on punishment for same amount of
time you are grounded.  That means every day you're on
punishment you get a
spanking in the morning and one at bedtime. This is
your morning spanking." Sirius raises his hand and
brings it down a dozen times on Harry's sit spot
causing Harry to howl and try to levitate off Sirius'
lap. When Sirius is done he turns Harry over hugging
him close. "Shh son see it's all over." He soothes.

	Meanwhile Snape walks in and just pulls Draco over
his knees. Draco knows what being on punishment means
and doesn't need it explained. Draco's eyes pop open
when he lands face down over his father's knees. 
"DAD, you didn't say I was on punishment." He wails as
Snape delivers 25 swats all over his bottom. (Yes
Draco gets 25 instead of 12 for a reason). After the
25 spanks are delivered Snape stands Draco up. Draco
rubs his bottom and cries quietly.  "Please Dad, I'm
really sorry." Snape hugs him close
rubbing his back. Draco wraps his arms around Snape's
neck. When Draco has calmed down, Snape lifts his
chin.  "I'm sorry that was necessary son. I love you
VERY
much. You need to work on your temper a great deal."  
He says giving him a small smile to lesson the bite 
of the statement. Draco nods and smiles back. "I'll
try Dad." Snape kisses his forehead and rubs his back.
"I know you will try son. That's all I ask."

	Lupin enters Crabbe and Goyle's room to find them up
and starting to dress. "Boys we have a 
couple of things to deal with. Vincent Crabbe instead
of the cream you are on "punishment."  What that means
is that every day you are on 
punishment you are going to be spanked once in the
morning and
once at night. If you misbehave during the day it will
make that bedtime spanking much worse." 
Lupin watches the fear play across Vincent's face. He
then turns to Goyle. "Gregory I will be performing a
spell to heal your bottom before we go down to
breakfast."  Gregory nods and finishes dressing.

	Lupin turns back to Vincent and motions him over. 
Once he's close enough Lupin pulls him over his knees
and lowers his pants and underwear. With Vincent's
bottom
bare Lupin raises his hand and snaps it down 12 times
on Vincent's sit spot. When he is done he gently
raises the boy's pants and underwear. Once they're up
most of the way Lupin stands him up. When Vincent has
fastened his pants Lupin stands up and hugs him close.
 "I know that hurt a lot Vincent but we only punish
all of you because we care. I hope you know that."
Lupin says kissing the top of his head.

	Vincent nods and runs a hand over his face before
grabbing his homework and heading out. Lupin turns to
Gregory. "All right lower your pants and underwear
then lay on the bed." Gregory Goyle lays down with his
bottom bare as Lupin whispers the spell to heal the
boy's bottom. "All right Gregory you can 
finish getting dressed and come downstairs." With that
Lupin
leaves the room.

	When Lupin and Gregory come downstairs the others are
waiting. It's hard not to notice that Harry, Draco,
Vincent, and Martha are sitting on punishment seats. 
The whole family eats a quiet breakfast before heading
out.

	When they arrive at school, Martha calls the class to
order and
asks Gregory to come to the front. "Children as you
know, yesterday afternoon I paddled Draco, Vincent, 
and Gregory for not paying attention. In fact, Gregory
had been innocent. His bottom has been healed and he
is
doing better." Gregory purses his lips thinking about
mentioning the fact that she was punished but he
realizes there must have been a reason she didn't say
anything. He nods and thanks her before taking his
seat. After he sits down Martha looks at the older
students. "Ron and Draco please switch seats." When
both look up, Draco's face is flushed and Ron's is
showing displeasure. "I don't want Draco and Crabbe
next to
each other." Martha states. Ron stands up gathering
his things and
sits down pushing Vincent over next to Gregory. Ron
mumbles something
along the lines of. "I'm not sitting between you two."

	The day goes quietly and even the older students
enjoy recess. Before going outside Harry and 
Draco walk up to Martha. "If we make sure we're back
in time
can we go to Honeydukes?" Martha scowls at the boys. 
Both of them know they are grounded. "Hermione, Ron,
and Gregory may. You two and Vincent are grounded so
you're not allowed to go." When the two boys 
start complaining her eyes narrow. "Shall we contact
your fathers? I bet they'll want to know how you're 
being disobedient." Both boys pale and shake their
heads.  They know what their fathers reaction would be

if they found out. Harry can't help his hands snaking
around behind him to cover his sore bottom. "I'm sorry
Miss, I didn't think it mattered." Harry babbles going
back into his pre-Hogwarts days. Martha smiles
and ruffles his hair gently. "It's alright boys as
long as this is the ONLY incident. Otherwise I will
tell them at home." Martha sighs and sees the clock.
"Ok go tell them they can go.  Rember you wo and
Vincent may not." She says shooing them back outside.
