Wednesday morning
When morning comes five sore children and one sore
adult sit down with the others for breakfast. Sirius'
and Snape's eyes meet across the table. Sirius sighs
and looks at Lupine sitting on his right picking at
his eggs not really eating them.
"Harry, Ron, and Drano you should get going to work.
The rest of us will work on other things."
Lupine lets out a sigh. He had a feeling he knew what
he'd be doing. Chores and lots of them. That was
usually part of being grounded. Sirius sighs and gives
him a one-armed hug. Lupine responds by laying his
head on Sirius' shoulder. Sirius whispers into
Lupine's hair near his ear. "If you get the
assignments I give you done by bedtime I'll put the
antidote on your bottom." Lupine looks up and gives
him a smile of thanks.
A few minutes later the three boys apparate to
Hogsmeade. When they enter the shop the twins are
eating breakfast. "Morning boys." Fred says smiling.
His smile disappears when Ron sits down with a wince.
"What did you do this time?" He asks sternly.
Ron wiggles slightly and looks down at his lap. "I
was caught eavesdropping on a conversation. Dad tanned
me with the hairbrush after supper last night. He was
really disappointed." Ron stands up and walks to the
window. "I can't seem to do anything right lately."
Harry sighs and gives him a punch in the arm. "Yes
you can. You misbehaved and were punished. It's over
Ron." Ron turns to him and smiles. "Thanks Harry."
After a long day Harry turns to the twins. "Would you
be willing to help train some new Quidditch players?
I'm the only one who has
experience in the position. Draco's going to play
keeper. Crabbe and Goyle are going to play beater.
Ron, Hermione and Jen will play chasers. While I will
continue as Seeker." The twins nod. "How about
on Sunday?" All three boys nod and agree.
When they arrive home the rest of the household is
holding supper. "Evening boys." Sirius greets with a
smile. All three boys sit down and exchange greetings
with everyone else. Ron looks at his father slightly
concerned. He notices him squirming slightly on a
strange seat top.
Lupine notices his son watching him but leaves it
until the family meeting after dinner. He isn't very
happy with Sirius and his decision to make him sit on
the 14-18 seat for this meal. After a quiet dinner
everyone starts to leave to do there own things. "Hold
it we have a family meeting now."
All eight children exchange worried looks. Draco is
the only one who has some idea what is up. When they
enter the living room they notice the three paddles,
canes and the special chair tops on the table as
Lupine sets the one he has been sitting on down.
Sirius motions for all eight to sit down. "We have
purchased different discipline paraphernalia to use on
you. The paddle, cane and chair top on this end of the
table is designed for children under 14. While on
that end they are designed for 18 and older." Sirius
picks up the 14 and under one. "This is designed for
children under 14. It can be used on older children
though." He shows them the paddle and passes it
around.
Next he picks up the paddle designed for 14 to 18
year olds. "This one is designed for 14 to 18 year
olds. Again it may be used on older children. The
line of holes can cause sting blisters if used long
enough and hard enough. We will not regularly raise
them." Sirius sighs and hands it around.
Sirius picks up the last paddle and holds it up.
"This is an 18 and older paddle. Most of you have at
least two years before your eligible for it. Well
except for Ron. Who only has a little over a year."
Ron gulps and looks at his dad pleadingly. "That's not
FAIR!" Ron jumps up and storms out of the room.
Lupine sighs and follows his misbehaving son.
When Lupine finds him, Ron is in the gym pounding the
punching bag. Lupine can hear him mumbling about the
unfairness of it all. "Just because I will turn 18 in
October of my 7th year. I get it worse than anyone
else." Lupine sighs and waits until he is finished.
When he finishes Ron notices Hermione standing in the
doorway watching. Lupine sighs and pulls Ron into his
arms. "Son I know it doesn't seem fair. But life isn't
fair. Consider yourself on punishment." Ron gulps and
lowers his head. "Punishment?" Ron questions. Lupine
sighs and stares him down. "It means that while your
on punishment you are grounded and receive a spanking
everynight before bed." Ron sniffles and rubs his
bottom.
Lupine turns him towards the doorway and swats him
hard. "Go get the paddle for 14 to 18 year olds
and go to your room."
Ron yelps and does as he's told. Hermione moves for
Ron but refuses to move for Lupine. "I cannot believe
you're going to punish him for expressing his
feelings." She says angrily. Lupine glares at her,
turns her around and swats her once. "Go to your
room." Hermione gasps, rubs her bottom and runs up to
her room.
Lupine sighs and returns to the living room. Lupine
motions to Sirius to join him in the hallway. "I'm
going to paddle Ron and he's on punishment. Hermione
also needs to be spanked. She argued with me and
refused to move out of my way to follow Ron."
Sirius sighs and goes back to grab the under 14
paddle. "I will punish Hermione while you deal with
Ron. Rebus remember he's still wearing the cream. It
will hurt more because of that. I am going to ground
Hermione for a week. How long do you plan on putting
Ron on punishment for?" Lupine sighs and rubs
the bridge of his nose. "One week. That should be
enough."
Sirius sighs and gives Lupine's shoulder a squeeze.
"Remember he loves you." Lupine smiles and nods.
Lupine heads up to his son's room. When he stops at
the door he can hear Ron sobbing quietly. When he
enters he is slightly disappointed Ron isn't in the
corner.
Lupine walks over and sits down on Ron's bed. He rubs
his sons' back. Ron jumps and looks up. "Oh, I'm sorry
I should be in the c-corner." Ron starts to get up but
Lupine stops him. "Stop son and talk to me please.
Your hurting and that hurts me."
Lupine pulls Ron into his lap. Lupine rocks him
slowly back and forth comforting his son. "I'm sorry
Dad. Please don't spank me and put me on punishment.
I'll do a month of cleaning the bathrooms or
something. Please!" Ron begs tears running down his
face. Lupine sighs and wipes away Ron's tears. "Stay
here and don't leave until I come back." Lupine
commands.
With that Lupine leaves the room and goes to talk to
Snape and Martha. He sighs and sits at the table with
a wince. "He wants to find an alternative to being
paddled and put on punishment. What do you think a
month of scrubbing toilets and showers. Do you two
think that's fair?" Snape sighs and ruffles Lupin's
hair. "Ground him, and make him do some really nasty
chores for two weeks. I think it will make him
regret storming out of the room the way he did."
Lupine nods and goes up to inform Ron of his
punishment.
When he arrives he finds Ron sitting on his bed
talking with Sirius. "H-Hello Dad. We were just
talking about what happened. He was explaining how
inappropriate my behavior was. I'm really sorry Dad,
I
really am."
Lupine sighs and sits down rubbing his back. "I know
son. I spoke with Martha and Snape. All three of us
agreed. You are grounded for two weeks and will do
lots of nasty chores."
Ron sniffles and looks back at his father. "Yes
Dad.Thank you for not spanking me." Ron crawls back
into Lupin's lap. Sirius smiles at both of them and
leaves the room. As he's about to leave he turns
back." Ron I spanked Hermione with the paddle. She is
also grounded for a week." Ron sighs and nods. "I'm
sorry I got her in trouble. I love her." Ron says
chewing on his lower lip. Sirius sighs and opens the
door. "Well I need to go release her from her corner
time. Behave Ron." Sirius sighs and leaves the room.
Ron looks up at his father and sighs. "I am sorry
Dad. I will serve this punishment to the fullest."
Lupine smiles and hugs him tighter. "I know you will
do your best son. That's all I ask." Ron sighs
contentedly and stands up. Once Ron is off his lap
Lupine stands up and gives him a hug. "You may only
leave your room to use the bathroom until morning."
Lupine orders. Ron nods and lays down on his bed. A
few seconds later Lupine opens the door again. "If you
can behave tomorrow I will put the antidote on your
bottom son." Ron sniffles and nods. "Yessir I kind of
figured that." Lupine nods and leaves the room.

After Sirius leaves Ron's room he heads to Hermione's
thinking about the sound paddling he
had given her.
Flashback:
Sirius enters Hermione's room carrying the paddle. He
first notices Hermione sitting on her
bed her knees pulled up to her chest. She look so lost
and forlorn that he almost gives in.
"Uncle Sirius y-your going to spank me?" She asks
looking up. Sirius nods and sits next to her. "I'm
going to paddle you for arguing with Lupine and trying
to prevent him from punishing Ron. Hermione, Lupine
would never do anything to seriously injure Ron. As
far as he is concerned Ron is his son." Hermione looks
up and nods. "I know. I'm sorry."
Sirius sighs and helps her to stand. "I am going to
paddle you and you're grounded for a week." Hermione
gulps and nods. "Yes Uncle Sirius." Hermione says
sniffling. With that Sirius pulls her over his knee.
After lifting her skirt and lowering her panties he
rubs her back for a minute. "I do NOT like doing this
sweetie. You're such a well behaved young lady most of
the time. But interfering with an adult administering
a just punishment is NOT acceptable and will only get
you punished as well."
With that Sirius raises the paddle and snaps it down
on her poor bottom. As the paddling
continues Hermione starts crying out with each swat
and begging. "Please Uncle Sirius stop. I-I'll be a
good girl." As she continues to cry Sirius continues
to paddle her. When her bottom is a dark red he stops.
When the paddling is over, Sirius turns her over,
hugging her close. He rocks her from side to side
gently. "Shh Hermione your spanking is over. You're a
good girl again." Hermione just cries into his
shoulder. When she is done crying Sirius stands her
up. "Go stand in the corner while I go check on Ron.

And now he was going to release her. When he walks in
carrying some aloe from the bathroom she is standing
there quietly crying. "OK Hermione come on out. If you
want I will rub some aloe into your bottom. Or I can
have one of the girls come up?"
Hermione walks over and nods her head. "How about
Ginny?" she asks.
Sirius nods and gets Ginny. "Go put some aloe on
Hermione's bottom. She was paddled pretty hard."
Ginny sighs and nods. "How's Ron?" She asks concerned.
Sirius sighs and smoothes back Ginny's hair. "He is
grounded for two weeks and has to do lots of nasty
chores. I wish we didn't have to do that. But he was
naughty and needs to be punished. We still love him."
Ginny nods and gives him a quick hug. "Yes Uncle
Sirius. I know you do." She smiles and goes upstairs.
