Former Fergie aide in court over murder charge

LONDON (Reuters) - A former aide to the Duchess of York appeared in court on Monday charged with murdering her boyfriend and was remanded in custody for a week.

Jane Andrews, 33, appeared at West London magistrates court accused of stabbing Thomas Cressman to death. The 40-year-old businessman's body was found on September 18 at their home in Fulham, west London.

Andrews, who is now a sales consultant, worked for the duchess -- known popularly as Fergie -- as a dresser for nine years until 1997. She was arrested last week in Cornwall.
