Saiyan Saga
A space pod is seen flying through space but it wont stay there very long because it suddenly crashes into a field on the planet Earth. An old fat farmer drives up in his truck to see what in the world happened. He gets next to the crater made by the space pod and see's an alien emerge. The farmer gets scared and shoots it with his gun but it has no effect and the human like alien just catches it and throws it back at the farmer killing him. The alien uses his scouter and notices a strong life form near and he says something about "Kakarot" and flies off.
We then see Goku cutting down some trees for fire wood. Chichi comes out and tells him that he better go find Gohan or else he'll be late for the party at Master Roshi's. Goku flies off with Nimbus, a flying cloud, and finds Gohan hanging on a branch. The two fly off toward Master Roshi's place.
Then it shows Piccolostanding on a cliff. He notices the alien flying toward him and gets scared. When the alien lands they talk awhile but then Piccolo fires a beam at him and it doesnt even fase the evil creature, but for piccolos sake the alien again finds another powerful being with his scouter and heads in that direction.
It again shows Goku and Gohan flying on the Nimbus and they arive at Master Roshi's. They talk awhile and Goku anounces to Krilin, Bulma, and Master Roshi that Gohan is his son. They're all shocked but there suprising thoughts dont last long when the alien being shows up on the little island. Once again they all talk and the alien tells everyone that he is Goku's brother and that they are both Saiyans from the planet Vegeta. He tells them how planet Vegeta was hit by a comet and only 4 Saiyans remain including Goku and Radditz, Goku's brother. Radditz wants Goku to join him and the other Saiyans so he can help them conqure planets but of course goku refuses. So Radditz kidnaps Gohan and tels goku that if he doesnt destroy 100 of this planets inhabitants in 24 hours, then he would never see his son again, and with that Radditz leaves.
Everyone is talking mostly about how to destroy Radditz when Piccolo shows up. Piccolo says he and Goku should team up and destroy Radditz, because he knew that Raddits would get in the way of his plans to take over Earth. So Goku and Piccolo set up a temperary truce and fly off toward Radditz.
It then shows Radditz sort of picking on Gohan, when all of a sudden our heros show up. They talk for awhile and then they get to fighting. After awhile of fighting it looks like there is no way for the two heros to beat Radditz. Until Piccolo says that he had a new move, that he was saving to defeat Goku, but it takes to charge up so Goku needs to hold off Radditz for awhile. When the attack was finaly charged Piccolo shoots it at Radditz, but unfortunately Radditz dodges it and only part of his armer is broken off. Radditz starts to beat up Goku some more when he notices a very high power level in his space pod, but the only person in the space pod is Gokus son Gohan. Radditz just thinks his scouter is broken and beats up Goku some more. But then all of a sudden Gohan bursts out of the space pod and powers up. Radditz says that Gohans powerlevel is over 1000. Gohan rams right into Radditz breaking his armer. Radditz is very injured by the little guys big attack but Gohan was knocked out by radditz and is about to become one dead little guy. But Goku is fast enough to get behind Radditz and get him in an Arm lock. Goku tells Piccolo to charge up his attack and fire it again. Piccolo does this and while killing Radditz he also kills Goku who was right behind Radditz.
After the fierce battle Piccolo tells Radditz how Goku will be brought back to live by the Dragon Balls. Then Radditz tells Piccolo how his scouter is also a transmiter and that the other two Saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, heard about the Dragon Balls and that they will be on planet Earth wishing for imortality in one year.
Bulma, Krilin, and Master Roshi show up at the battle field. They hear about the Saiyans and are upset to hear that they're are even stronger saiyans coming. They are also upset that there friend Goku is about to die. But all of a sudden Goku dissapears and Piccolo says that Kami, the guardian of the Earth, is going to get Goku some speacial training in the other world. After Piccolo regenerates his arm he takes Gohan away so that he can get him to release his special powers.
