his nephew, Gohan, in hopes of persuading Goku to join him and the remaining Saiyans in conquering planets, but this action only provokes Goku's rage. Goku jions forces with his former rival Piccolo in order to take down this incredibale fighter, but it is young Gohan who manages toinjure Raditz when his anger explodes. After being injured, Goku grapples with Raditz, allowing Piccolo to perform the Special Beam Cannon attack. Unfortunately, both Raditz and Goku are killed by the attack, and just before dying, Raditz transmits info concerning the Dragon Ball'z to his even more powerful and deadly comrades in deep space.
