Karen Jashua
Karen Joshua is Shiro's direct subordinate and is arguably his most valuable asset in battle. Karen is a hotheaded pilot, but has had the most combat experience of all the 08th MS Team members. The widow of a military doctor, Karen also has limited medical knowledge, another skill that aids her in battle. At first Karen does not respect Shiro's authority over her, but she quickly changes her mind after he saves her life.
