Raven: Your Soul Reflections Tarot Collector's Edition will go on sale soon. Do you think this deck will sell out? Maralee: Let's find out. (Grabs the trusty magic 8 ball and gives it a shake, then turns it upright) The answer is: It is certain. Well, you heard it straight from the 8 so I guess it will LOL! But seriously, it would be very nice if it did sell out. (Raven's note: This deck was completely sold out in a few hours. I'm among the fortunate few who was lucky enough to get one. The Soul Reflections Tarot Collector's Edition sell out follows the trend of Maralee's Lady Eclipse Tarot which sold out in a day.)
Raven: Besides your own decks, do you have a favorite tarot deck? Maralee: I have many decks I like to use but I can't say that I have a favorite deck.
Raven: What tarot card have people used the most to describe you and from what deck? Maralee: The upright Mother of Wands from the Quest Tarot. Even my husband thinks it describes me well. He's talked about ordering a print so it can hang over my work area.
Raven: If you could describe yourself using just one word, what would it be? Maralee: Fulfilled.
Raven: Which word do you think people would most often use when describing you? Maralee: That's hard to say because it would depend on who was doing the describing. I don't dwell on what others are saying about me anyway whether it's good, bad, or neutral.
Raven: What types of music do you like to listen to? Maralee: It depends on the mood I'm in or what I'm doing. My taste in music is very broad but what I seem to listen to most often is classical and new age.
Raven: Do you listen to any particular type of music when you create the cards for your decks? Maralee: I've found myself listening to all types of music like classical, country, new age, pop, easy listening, and even some rap but these are just a few examples. What I listen to when I'm creating depends on what channel of Soundscapes I have on or what I'm in the mood to hear.
Raven: What song do you think best describes your life? Maralee: No question about it: " It's My Life " by Bon Jovi.
Raven: What is your favorite color? Maralee: Spring Green.
Raven: What is your biggest pet peeve? Maralee: Procrastination.
Raven: What do you think is you greatest strength? Maralee: To be able to free my mind with ease.
Raven: What do you think is your greatest weakness? Maralee: Chocolate, LOL!
Raven: Who are your favorite artists? Maralee: There are so many very gifted people out there. To name a few: Nene Thomas, Jim Buckels, Priscilla Hernandez, Ciro Marchetti, Amy Brown, and Lynyrd Narciso.
Raven: Who do you admire? Maralee: I choose to admire certain people for many different reasons. These could include character, enlightenment, talent, wisdom, or a list of other factors. The person still living whom I've admired for years is His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
Raven: What advice would you give to someone who wanted to follow in your footsteps? Maralee: Don't. Be yourself because that's who you're supposed to be. It's a big part of why you're here in the first place.
