| "I've been working for this and other cafeterias since 1923 and am proud to say that the EMU cafeteria is the most delightful eatery I've overseen yet! Reading and doing arithmetics is very important, but eating three nutritional meals every day is the key to a long, fruitful life. Although a good deal of my work is administrative, I still like to help cook when I can. I learned to cook without gloves and still believe that it gives you much more control over what you're doing. Chronic cough is no fun either, so much darned flem! But I always, always cover my mouth when I'm in the kitchen, trust me. I can tell that the kids appreciate that their meal was made by old Evelyn, without any gloves, suffering from constant coughing, the old fashioned way.
