| Once upon a time there lived a young French girl named Belle, sometimes called Beauty. When her inventor father took up refuge to avoid getting eaten by wolves, she offered herself up in his place as a prisoner. The ruler of the castle was an evil Beast but with her kind heart and sweet nature, she soon tamed him. But the story did not end there. For he possessed a magical rose, and he risked the possibility of staying a beast forever. But then the spell was broken and he changed back into his true form. Belle became his princess, or should I say his queen, and they lived happily ever after to this day. |
