| I'm not conceited. Really! I just thought this would be fun; you should try it sometime! Which celebrity do you wish was your age? Orlando Bloom, naturally. Who's your favorite superhero? Frodo Baggins! Even though it sounds like a joke, Tolkien did a really cool thing by making the small, insignificant, unskilled Hobbit the hero; the one who will save them all from doom. As Cate Blanchett (Galadriel) said, "Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." And it speaks to me because I'm...well, small! Who's your favorite superheroine? Lots! Catgirl, Wonder Woman, Supergirl! I relate to Supergirl because I wear a lot of Superman-logo clothing. As for Catgirl, I pinch or scratch people with my nails (mostly annoying guys), which are fatal when long! Some of my friends have even called me by these names. Personally, I think there is a super-somebody inside us all. What was the first book you read? Peter Pan, or some Disney book! At age 5 I read King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table by Howard Pyle, one of those illustrated versions meant for 10-year-olds. What's your favorite book genre? Fantasy or fantasy-fiction. I'm obsessed with magic and medieval stuff! Most non-fiction is made up of boring bios or topics. I don't like sci-fi, and mysteries are ok because at least you can try and solve them! What's your favorite book? Lots of books I read are good. I like ones that make me laugh, or make me want to at least read it again! Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison is pretty good. It's the hilarious journal of a 14-year-old British girl, with months entitled 'Exploding Knickers' or 'I Use It To Keep My Balls Still.' Believe me, that aforementioned month gave me a lot of laughs. I read it during Silent Sustained Reading, and my friend later informed me that I looked like I was about to burst out laughing at any moment. It's earned me some odd comments, though. What book are you reading right now? Joan of Arc by Mark Twain (for my World History report) and in my spare spare time it's I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith. Before that I was reading Tolkien's books. What's your book-reading technique? Just read however the hell you want--one sitting, end to beginning, in portions. My advice: Don't read a book and then turn back to page 1 again. It'll be boring, because it's so predictable. Also, if you read it again after you've had a nice break from it, you might even notice stuff you may have overlooked. What Shakespeare play would you most want to act in? Even if Shakespeare is the greatest writer, would someone be so bold/daring to act in one of his plays? At the least I'd like a romantic comedy...whatever that is in the play world. What's your favorite outfit? Army green Union Bay floods with a black Beatles shirt, or SUperman shirt. What fashion fad this year have you never liked? Bowling shoes and too much or patched-up denim. What kind of makeup are you addicted to? Lip gloss and nail polish. Revlon Skinlights Glosslights in Rose Quartz is really good, and smells kinda funky-weird. In my opinion it could be sugary roses, but it stinks in a rosey way in general. (Babbling) Lancome makes those good, delish Juicy Tubes for which I am such a cheapie not to buy for $15! As for nail polish, I like Sally Hansen in Violet Freeze Frost and Wet 'n' Wild in Ms. Thang. What's your favorite animated character? Gary from Spongebob Squarepants--if I get a cat it will be named Gary--Bart Simpson, and Reggie Rocket. |
