[Author's Note: This story has nothing to do with Everworld, Animorphs or their characters. But I think it's a good story and I hope whoever reads it likes it as well. I was in my territory, which isn't the best territory for a Dragon, because all I had were a few trees, but since trees aren't tall enough for me when I'm laying down to protect me from the cold, chilly winter wind, and anything as in humans could see me, but if they were smart enough they would leave me alone, but I don't think that would happen because about an hour flight to my left, humans were exploring close to me. I had a horrible territory. I could leave my territory, and not have to bother with these worthless humans, but us dragons are assigned territories to protect, even though my territory had nothing, but us dragons are greedy and we won't give up land either. So I guess if they come too close I'll just have to fry them and then I'll have a snack, but then more will just come. Even though we are the most feared, humans still take the risk of trying to fight us or explore.

By the way my name is Nebula, I am a female flying-dragon, with scales of blue, eyes of light blue and at the end of my tail it ends with a heart shape. I also have two hands and two feet, with four fingers and four toes that have their own set of claws. I can breathe fire like any other dragon and I prefer my food cooked. Humans who see me or any other blue dragon like me think were a sky-dragon as of protecting the sky, which I don't think the sky needs to be protected, and it's already ours since humans can't reach it, and dragons get tried of flying, so we need land. How foolish humans are. Or maybe the humans just think that since we have wings we are Sky-Dragons but I haven't heard humans call Green Flying-Dragons or the other colored Flying-Dragons beside the blue Flying-Dragons, Sky-Dragons. Us Dragons can also speak two languages, English and Wyter, which is dragon speak.

I could smell the humans they must be close now. Then I saw a young one. The younger the foolish. Then he saw me he looked surprised. Good I thought, maybe then he will turn around and leave with his men. But he didn't he walked closer. That fool doesn't he know I could fry him and the rest of his men they all were in firing range. Maybe I should and then the matter will be over. But I wanted to have fun with this human and know what he was up to. Both the humans and I waited for one to talk. Finally I decided to talk.

"Human what are you doing coming near my territory?" "You better give me a good answer or you and your men are lunch?"

"Sky-Dragon this is not your territory, the sky is yours, but I do not know why you are on land." We are just to find one of these whether it is a land-Dragon, flying-Dragon or a sea-dragon to give it a message, and then be on our way," said the young human.

They want to give us a message, yah a message that says don't kill us, don't take our land which isn't theirs in the first place because we were here long before humans, but we didn't care about land then because there was no humans to take it from us. But when they did come, sure we were going to give some land to the humans but they killed Lardard, the wise one of the Dragons, when he died there was a great cry in the dragons.

It was year 234 when the humans begun, four humans hatched from two flowers, two from each. The two from the first flower birthed with the two from the other flower, the dragons of that time never stopped them because they didn't know what the humans were doing until the dragons saw that it made more humans but littler ones. The dragons let the small group of humans live because the dragons thought that humans would get along with dragons but they were wrong, but the Dragons in that time were also a little smart though because they watched how the humans grew and by watching them that helped the dragons today learn English. When there was about fifty humans, Lardard, the wise one of the Dragons of that time, who was a Green land-Dragon with purple eyes and the same with the hands, toes and the tail like me and all the other dragons, went to the human group to make friends with the humans and to give them some land, because they were about to wander on to some good feeding area for the dragons.

Lardard had to travel two hours on foot to get to where the humans were. When he got there the humans were terrified and they shot arrows at him. Lardard tried to talk to the humans about that he wouldn't hurt them but they didn't stop. Lardard could have fried the humans but he didn't, he just called out to the other wise ones to help him. Before the wise ones got there Lardard was dead and he hadn't killed any of the humans. The wise ones were mad and they called out to land, and flying dragons to come and punish these humans and to never trust any ever again. Some Land and Flying-Dragons near by came and fried forty humans and only left ten alive and then gave them this message: "If you ever leave this area, us dragons will kill every single of you humans."

But that message was a lie because humans have taken land from us till this day forward.

Why then should I listen to this human, and not just kill him and his men? I don't know I guess I think humans can be good. But I'm probably wrong, and if I don't kill these humans I will regard it because one of these humans will probably kill a fellow dragon.

"Human you and the rest of your people are fools, thinking us dragons will listen to you." I finally said.

"Whether it is a land, flying or a sea-dragons will want to listen to us, because we have a threat against them," said the young human.

"Threat, what threat, there's nothing that scares us." I said.

"Not a Sky-Dragon, because they don't bother us, but the other dragons."

"Sky-dragons, you humans are fools there is no Sky-dragon, we don't protect the sky because humans can't reach the sky, it's already ours and it's not because of our scale color is blue." " So tell me your stupid threat."

" We have a witch." He said.

"A witch and what is that." I said, a little annoyed, because there is nothing that can hurt us dragons.

" A witch is a person who has magic." He said.

"What kind of person?" I asked.

"Well ours is a girl of the Fentes family."

I thought of this for a moment. A human girl having magic, only dragons have magic and that was to breathe fire. How could a human breathe fire? This human was lying to me.

So I fried him and his men and had my snack. I never went and told the wise ones about what the human said because it couldn't of been true.

A week later I saw some more humans coming toward my territory. I roared, which is a sign of don't come near because there's a dragon near and it doesn't want to be bothered. The reason I didn't want to be bothered was that I was tried from staying up late the past few nights to see if any humans were going to come looking for there fellow companions I ate. So I had to be ready if there was going to be any attaches in the night when I was asleep. But there wasn't any till today. The humans kept walking toward me. So I roared again. But nothing changed. These humans were going to get it, no talking, nothing. I was in no mood at all. The humans stopped a little way from where I couldn't reach them with my fire, unless I left my territory for a while, which I could because they couldn't get to it before they were fried.

One human with a black beard yelled from were he was standing. "Sky-Dragon, we bring no harm to you, we are just looking for a few of our companions, have you seen them?"

Sky-Dragon why couldn't the humans get it through there heads that we weren't Sky-Dragons.

"Human, are you sure I'm a Sky-Dragon?" I asked which I know he would probably say yes.

"I asked you a question Dragon, have you seen our companions?

That fool how dare he speak back to me like that. He is going to pay.

"You worthless piece of human, how dare you talk back to me like that, I should fry you for that and then make your companions watch me eat you." "Now answer my question or I'll make that reality come true." I said.

That sentence kind of took him back. Good he devises it, I thought.

"Yes, you are a Sky-Dragon." " Now answer my question." He said, which sounded like he was scared.

"Before I answer your question are you scared of me?" I asked.

"Your suppose to answer----, but I cut him off. "Shut up, I don't have to do anything, just like I didn't believe that young human that you say is your companion he wasn't scared of me because he came close up to me to where I could of burned him and all his men and I did because he lied to me about a human girl who you humans call a witch that can breathe fire, and you humans are such fools by thinking that we are Sky-Dragons. And you are the foolish of them all because I'm going to kill you and your men no matter what you say."

"You may kill us but you are wrong about the witch, she has stronger powers than you and your dragons will ever have and I hope you die in the worst way."

"Well you will see." I said.

Before the man could ask what, I went out of my territory and grabbed the man around the waist. His men were already running. I turned the guy I held in my hand toward his men. Then I breathed and all his men where on fire and after a while his men were nothing but ashes blowing in the wind. I could hear the man I held crying, screaming, begging for help when there was none. I turned around on my hind legs and took two steps and I was back in my territory.

I decided to fly to the Setarent Range, which is a cave were the wise ones stayed. Before I left I had to find something to cover this humans eyes with because no human ever is suppose to see where Setarent Range is, it's the most secret place to all the Dragons. And if a Dragon tells, another Dragon will have to burn that Dragon to death. It is a most awful death for a Dragon. I decided to put my other hand over this humans head but he won't die from not having air because I didn't want that to happen, I wanted to show him later that no human girl they called a witch even if it's not true about her will never stop the mighty Dragons.

I flew for about two hours before I had to stop at Penterla Lake to get a drink of water, which is a Dragon's Lake and Polly a purple Flying-Dragon like me with light green eyes was the Dragon who protected it. She was my best friend. But when I was landing I saw humans by the Lake. They saw me landing and so they got their bows and arrows reading to fire. Why would there be humans by this lake? All the Dragons that are near by drink from this lake and Polly would protect it with her life. "Dragon this is our lake now, so go elsewhere or you'll pay the consequence," said a guy that looked like he was dressed in a suit of honor.

Huh, no Sky-Dragon this and Sky-Dragon that these humans must be fairly smart. But since there humans there still fools. Also what about the consequence the guy said. What is it that they'll shoot arrows at me? Yah, that's all it could be, nothing to worry about. But I decided to fool around with the humans.

"I'm a Sky-Dragon and I've been---but then the beard guy I was holding in my hand started screaming and the guy in the suit of honor and his men I think heard. I hurried up and spoke louder-----doing my duty of protecting the sky, and I got awfully thirsty and then I saw this Lake and I was just wondering if I could get a drink and then be on my way." I said. Which I hoped this human and his men believed it and forgot about the voice they heard? But actually I was really thirsty.

"Sure Sky-Dragon be our guest," said the guy in honor.

Sure I could get my drink and then be on my way to Setarent Range but the guy in the suit of honor's voice sounded like go ahead go into our trap, Dragon, we heard the voice, what was that about? So should I say something that I heard the voice too? Or should I go and just get my drink with saying nothing or shouldn't I go because it might be a trap were their going to shoot arrows at me when I'm bent down getting my drink. But also what about my best friend Polly, what happened to her? I had to find out. So I decided to ask about her before I said anything about the voice. "I was just wondering isn't this dragon territory, I mean I've never seen any humans here before so I was just assuming." I said.

"I'm pretty sure this had to be Dragon territory, but when we got here there was no Dragon," said the guy.

No Polly here, but dragons protect there land, never give it up, unless they die or have to go tell the wise ones something like me. Was Polly at Setarent Range? Or did these humans or some other humans kill her? Was this human lying to me about Polly not being here when they came, maybe or maybe not, but I don't know? All I know is if I find out his men and him killed Polly I will kill each one in horrible torment, by ripping each leg and arm off one at a time, but if I just go and get my drink and they don't attach me then I have to leave with not knowing if they killed Polly and then if they did I will never find all of them again. What should I do? I decided to put all the other problems back for a while and ask one more question.

"If I was a different Dragon and I didn't leave you and your men alone what is your consequence?" I asked.

"Why Sky-Dragon is some Dragon going to come and kill us?"

"Well I mean you have a good area, where water is, that land and Flying-Dragons get thirsty too you know, that they might want this land." I said.

"You have a good point Sky-Dragon, we have a witch for a consequence to those other dragons."

"Well I better get my drink of water and then be on my way." I said.

"Yes, you have been away from the sky to long that protects you because our arrows can't reach Flying-Dragon."

They knew I wasn't a Sky-Dragon. Then all of a sudden a bunch of humans with bows, arrows and spears came out from the trees that surround Penterla Lake and they surround me.

"You will wish you never lied eyes on this Lake, Flying-Dragon," said the guy in the suit of honor.

I breathed fire out at the guy in the suit of honor and his men but it never touched them. I tried my left, right and behind me but none ever touched the humans.

"Ha hahaha, Flying-Dragon meet the power of our witch." And then a human girl walked through the crowd on my left towards me. I assumed that was the witch. I wasn't just going to stand there and watch this human girl who they call a witch walk through the human crowd and get to me.

I tried to grab the people with my hands and my mouth, I tried to hit the humans with my tail but none worked. Then I decided to breathe fire on the witch and it worked. She cried out in pain she was burning to death and the humans around her just moved away so they wouldn't get burned. I lifted my hand that was covering the black beard guy's head I held so that he could see that I killed the witch that was supposed to be all-powerful. I let the black beard guy watch the witch die for a while. I then turned my head back to the guy in the suit of honor he had his gaze on the witch. What a fool he believed it to that a human girl, that had a power to save others but not herself could kill us Dragons.

"Human," I said, and then him and a couple of his men turned their gazes on me, because the witch was now dead, all that was left was ashes. "Your witch is dead, now what do you have for a consequence?" I said.

The guy in the suit of honor looked at me in a pit-a-ful way, and said, "I don't."

"Ha hahahahahahahahahaha, you humans are such fools, I could kill every single one of you here, Ha hahahahahahaha."

"Then why don't you," said the guy in the suit of honor."

"Why, is because I want to see you humans come up with another consequence and I want to know what you humans did to that dragon that territory where on now." I said.

"We didn't do anything to the Flying-Dragon, except tell it that we humans have a witch and then it flew off."

"If you are lying to me human I will kill you and if you don't leave this area I will kill you too." I said and then I put the black beard guy I've been holding since I got to Penterla Lake down. Then I left to go to Setarent Range.

When I got there I found that Polly was ok, and I told the wise ones about the human girl being a witch, and the guy in the suit and his men left Penterla Lake. From this day on I am still at my same territory and humans and dragons still aren't friends with each other, and humans will always be fools.
