Realm of the Reaper was one of the few Everworld books that had me waking up in a pile of sweat. It was nerve-crunching, bone-rattling, jaw-chattering... The list goes on. The way KA described Hel was absoloutly magnificent. It's like a Picaso work of art, only in a book form.
I was really excited about a Jalil book. I like Jalil, my favourite character. He just knows how to tell a story, and I love his point of veiw.
His somewhat sarcastic views about things really would give a different perspective from say, April's.

Doug's Review
I loved this book. Wonderful, funny, freaky, scary, sarcastic...ext...this book had everything a book needs.
I have to admit Hel scared the pants off me (not literally ;-) )
When Jalil descirbed her, I felt very sick. But the thing that stumps me the most is that, Hel is supposed to be far more powerful than Loki, and Loki who is afraid and weaker than Hel, That the Everworlders can escape Hel, but not Loki.
I was horrified when Jalil described the heads of people. I found his OCD very interesting, and this book reveals his tie to Senna. Very great and scary this book will go down in Everworld History.
