Odin held court in Valhalla, where all brave warriors went after death in battle. There, the warrior's wounds' healed as they banqueted with Odin. The hall of Valhalla had 540 doors, and the roof was made of shields. The slain warriors were brought to Valhalla by women called Valkyrie's. Their leader was Brunhild. They rode through the air on great horses and armour, and directed battles.
Odin's greatest treasures were his eight-footed steed, Sleipner, his spear, Gungnir, and his ring, Draupner. Odin was also the god of wisdom, poetry, and magic, and he sacrificed an eye for the privilege of drinking from Mimir, the fountain of wisdom.
Odin had two pet Ravens, Huginn "Thought", and Muninn "Memory", which, every day, would go and gather news from the world.
Odin's three wives were earth godesses, and his eldest son was Thor, the god of Thunder.
