Basil is having a wonderful time now that he can play with his toys once again. Daddy came to visit for the weekend and they had a blast. Basil also gets to greet the other dogs in the park now. He gets very wiggly and excited. I can't wait until these next four weeks are over. He can go back to being a normal puppy. Although, I'm sure my heart will race the first time I set him free. It will skip a beat every time he does something that could hurt his legs. But, it will be worth it to see him "antelope" through tall grass and play with other dogs. He is so social and this time has been very difficult for him.
I think we're going to take another basic training class and then work towards our Canine Good Citizen. That's pretty low impact but will expend energy and occupy his mind. I also need to find a place to take him swimming where I can go in too.
