| The Beginning |
| My introduction to cavaliers as a breed began in 1991 with the purchase of a Blenheim dog 'Brook'. At 15 months old we began our show career together. After much learning on both our parts, he became my first champion, 'Ch Cranbrook Churchill'. Shortly after he was joined by our foundation bitch Shani 'Drakkar Rythm Galore'. During her show career she gained 4 Cc's and multiple reserve Cc's. Shani mated to 'Ch Glengariff Cartouche' in 1995 produced our first home bred litter of 2 bitches, and 5 dogs. From this litter we showed a Blenheim bitch Bonny, who became our first homebred champion 'Ch Eversbrook Bonny'. Ch Drakkar Dream's Galore 'Tanner' owned my myself and his breeders Anja Calder-Mew & Ron Mew, mated to Bonny in 2000 produced a litter of 3 bitches & 5 dogs. We are currently showing a dog from this litter 'Ch Eversbrook Elusive Dream', Reilly who has been an absolute delight to show, taking multiple in Group and In Show awards, and a bitch 'Ch Eversbrook Dream Catcher' Zoe who is co-owned with Carolyn Rhodes of Christchurch. I also own a Tri-colour bitch 'Chelsea' 'Ch Feldra Sugar N Spice' who is currently out of the ring on maternal duties. Mated to 'A/NZ Ch Lorcavna Paige Boy' they together produced a litter of 1 Blenheim bitch, 2 Blenheim dogs, and 2 Tri-colour dogs.
