Ah, Cancun, Mexico.  Land of sun, fun, parties, and wonderful people.  As you can tell, I really like Cancun.  I've been there several times and now feel very at home there.

Cancun is located on the East Coast of Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula.  Cancun is very much a "touristy" vacation spot.  If you are looking for a quiet, natural setting in the tropics, then Cancun is not for you.  If you are looking for awesome beaches, friendly people, and lot of relaxation, dancing and nightlife, reserve your flight.

We go to Cancun for the pure extravagant fun of it; we don't go to experience unknown culture or to go on "Indiana Jones" type excursions.  We go to relax, experience great epicurian delights, enjoy our friends, get a manicure (o-kay just me on that one), lay around and read meaningless magazines on the beach, shop, etc.....

January 31, 1998 - February 7, 1998

 We've stayed twice. This is a great all inclusive resort that I highly recommend.  There are two sections; the Royal Tower (right) and the Caribe Tower (left). The Royal Tower is where most of the action is while the Caribe Tower is more laid back and quiet.  The food here was great!!  That is always a concern with All-Inclusive resorts, but no need to worry here, we all gained weight!
