| Ray Evernham started the "Ultimate Chargers" Busch team in 2005. Kasey Kahne, Jeremy Mayfield, Scott Riggs, Casey Atwood, and Erin Crocker have driven the car since 2005. The car used to be #6 in 2005 but Ray Evernham changed it to #9 for 2006. In 2005 Kasey Kahne got the first win for the busch team at Kansas Speedway. He beat Greg Biffle by half a car length for the victory. In 2005 the Busch team finished 21st in owner points posting 1 win, 3 top5's and 7 top 10's in 34 starts. For 2006 Kasey Kahne, Jeremy Mayfield and Scott Riggs would drive the #9 Busch car. The first victory came at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Kasey Kahne driving and the second at California Speedway also with Kahne driving. The #9 Busch car finished 8th in 2006 owner points with 2 wins, 5 top 5's and 11 top 10's. 2007 will add Elliott Sadler to the list of drivers piloting the #9 Busch car.
