| What begins as a psionic plague, eminating from what outsiders call the Circle Of Darkness, deep within Chlondath's jagged mountains. Shadows and all things dark encompass the land. Psionics, Magic Users and all things magical can be tainted by the plague. When a person or creature is tainted it becomes a darkcaster and tries to spread the plague elsewhere once a place is fully tainted the sky becomes dark and the darkmasters and their black broods may inhabit the new area. Boric has announced that this may be the worlds largest immediate threat, since there is no known cure to it. | |||||||||||||

| The worlds largest Thieving guild, their combined skills are extensive. No one knows how big it actually is exept for the Guildmaster, Darthk. Little know that Darthk is an Illithid and that his chief Guildlord is Jenova a Beholder. The origins of the Guild are vague, but most believe it began in Seernal, since the guilds most powerful Guildlords are there. They are into nearly anything illegal from theft to assassinations. Failure in a major Skirmish is punishable by death, some believe that the success of the guild is because of the Sikman Braclet, a communication device. | |||||||||||||

| Eons ago the Drow Empire was governed by the mighty Sagelord councils though the Drow Empire is all but a ruin, one outpost survied, Geagn. The city is above ground unlike most of the Empires outposts they still follow their religious order of the Sagelord Councils, though on a smaller scale Sagelords are basically Drow Paladins with a Pantheon of six Gods two major and four minor, the sagelord council inner circle has eight seats the inner circle does not need to be physically active in battle and external excursions, the Sagelords that do venture out of Geagn get involved in conspiraces and world events so to extend the influence of the Drow once again. | |||||||||||||

| A simple Legendary Agreement that states that when a vampire is slain, the other vampires throughout the world have to kill the slayer, this has become a helpful legend for vampires, since no one dares kill a vampire. The largest effort to prove this was when Ghforhnzlorr the great wyrm silver dragon swallowed Kifer Inkorsai an ancient vampire king, Ghfornzlorr was slain by a combined attack of 206 vampires, the dragon was slain and displayed as a warning to others, not to cross the vampire alliance. | |||||||||||||

| The Archon race are primarily in a metropolis called Petmetro on the a southern peninsula of Esper ( An Island Continent ) The main directive is to hamper other races and kingdoms to solve problems and be the eyes and ears of the Archon Directorate, Dr Jonan Maelon is Senior Supervisor giving Afratech a new overhall, inspiring new technologies to better Petmetro and the Archon race. | This name gives elves a title of citizenship in the Republic, although the Republic fell 60 milenia ago there are still numerous elves that take pride in that name and help out the crown princess Natalie, the Shrinshee and the Guardians when they can. About 50% of Wood, High, Sea and Grey elves consider that they are Armathor, including greats like Velkhan Greensun Adela Hawkmoon, Alamir Moonspear, Lorloveim Kem'e, Katath Tarson Kharessa Linkyrin just to mention a few. | In an Empire of magic who are the knights? Kaladoras has solved this problem, when a mage has proved themselves and their loyalty and are of sufficent political and magical power they are given the title of Supermage Supermages are sent to all corners of the Empire to solve problems and give guidence to the local lords, some are excluded from these duties because of higher concerns like Kara Lordsburn a Demigod and Malkier the leader of the Dracolord Council etc. when one of these people talks to foreign leaders and ambasadors it is with the weight and support of the Kaladoras Empire. | |||||||||||||
| The Magi Council | |||||||||||||
| The ruling body of the Kaladoras Empire, since the kings assassination 20 years ago the council has full regent, royal power. All royal blood is gone Sharantyr is the Magister and thus the basic ruler, the people of Kaladoras don't mind that a Archmagi rules over them. The outer cities, colonies and protectorates are still disgruntled about the change but they haven't been affected much by the change. The council is voted by Supermages giving preferences and then selected from the Supermages, 7 people sit on the council one Magister voted by preferences within the council. An electionoccurs every 1000 days, almost 3 years. Sharantyr has been Magister for 10000 days, 27 years. The longest serving Magister was for 169000 days, 463 years, just after the Mistra rebellion. | |||||||||||||

| Toward the end of the Dark Ages there was a growing concern for the number of Psionics being born to most of the major races. By this time the Fire Elven city of Enkar was all but memory in the Great Elven historical libraries, but Calnashoal a Fire Elf who had extraordinary mental talent created (with the assistance of Jaslien Daremyth a Psion and a mysterious Ancient known only as Prometheus) The Triads. Their mission was simple, to be advisors and protectors of influential people of Goodly kingdoms and Organisations. Aslo as time went on they adopted more missions like the opposition to the evil Greywave organisation and the collection and protection of powerful artifacts for the Boseon Dragons, to be used when most only when most needed. The Triads have over the years made many enemies like the Greywave and many allies like The Rangers. Fifalaural an ancestor of Calnashoal ruled The Triads gracefully until a decade ago when she was on a expedition to Kandran Island to seek out a Psionic race called Platin. She was not received well and was hunted down by an Executor, the Executor killed her an took the Medallion of the Triads. Once Linis the Executor touched the Medallion she was flooded with purpose and responsibility for she became the next leader of The Triads. | |||||||||||||

| The W.C.A. was formed in desperate times in the Dark Ages. It begun in Kaladoras almost four thousand years ago, the city had just been freed from the Tyranny of the Mistra Guild. The Mistra Rebellion ended with the death of Vasilika the prime architect of the rebellion. The Wizard Control Agency was set up by the remaining mages loyal to the crown, they began to keep tabs on wizards and their activities and also the W.C.A. hunted down the traitors who escaped to other kingdoms and lands. Records say that they even invaded sovereign cities to get the Mistra traitors. As the centuries passed the Kaladoras Kingdom was almost under permanent martial law. Trade, travel etc. became severly affected, the king ordered the W.C.A. to allow some freedom to the citizens, but the agency would not heed to the orders of the current king. In response the King ordered the disbanding of the W.C.A. or exile for it's members. They chose to leave and to this day their main operational headquarters are on Lecara Island. They have many treaties throughout the Karel and even know their methods are questionable, they are seen as needed against the threat of mages taking over Kingdoms and Cities. Vasilika didn't die those thousands of years ago, he knew that he lost the Mistra battle and begun to plan for other ways of ruling the most Magical city in all the world. He created the W.C.A. and has had over the years many names and only a small few know the name of Vasilika from those many years ago. | |||||||||||||
| Dark Priests Of Norlind | |||||||||||||
| Norlind, a land that has become soaked in evil, cruelty has become common, death blankets the valleys of once proud nations. Ruled by the Arkeen, Demi'God of Nakiss, goddess of evil, chaos and destruction. The Darklord commands from his sinister tower, and his evil servants, The Dark Priests obey his every demand. Once long ago the land, surrounded by the Kambor Mountains, was protected by a powerful artifact, The Sunstone. There were four kingdoms who worked together under one banner, The Kingdoms of the Sunstone. The people were happy but fearful that the dark ages would curse them. That curse came over the mountains in the form of one Sorcerer, Arkeen took the Sunstone and the land withered, the terrible weather that never affected the people before all came at once. The land and people took the punishment that was forseen in a prophecy. The remaining Gigas left this fallen haven for the Kambor mountains calling the transition "Kougi Norlind" meaning "The paradox of balance." Arkeen took a liking to the name and renamed the land Norlind. Norlind today is a decaying land with only a fraction of the population it had during the days of the Kingdom of the Sunstone. The Dark Priests are so decadent that they don't care about anything in the Norlind. Evil, chaos and destruction are all that is in their dark hearts. | |||||||||||||
| The Greywave | |||||||||||||
| A coalition of self interest psionics, it is unknown when it was created or how it was created. The Greywave have been so secretive they have no written history, and as it's the matters of the mind, there is not much information on them from other organisations. One common notion in their organisation is "All mundanes are cattle." referring that psionics will be the masters of the future and mundanes (non-psionics) will be slaves to the might of the mind. They have no real chain of command, it's more like cells that work toward the same goal. They have been attributed to many assassinations, coups, conspriracies and corruption of and in many cities, kingdoms and empires. The common man would not know anything about The Greywave, but some important people, especially in The Triads, know of the partial leadership of the coalition. Lanaxis Phoenix is well known in The Triads because of his sister Domino Phoenix. Lanaxis is perhaps the most active Greywave member and has been noted in many places throughout the world. Drakshaw, who is suspected of assassinating the last King of Kaladoras was a major player. Jellyron Krodir is wanted by the G.C.D. for many crimes. Sylia Highmine, Zalestia Vamaru and the Illithid Ulguthir are all in someway involved in the network of the mind. | |||||||||||||

| Almost forty years ago Salem was reincarnated back to Karel to usher in a new age, the Dawn Ages. Declared year zero by Starcity it marked the end of the Dark Ages. After being hit by the Nacene, Omicrok the fallen God and banished to a void plane for the entire length of the Dark Ages. Since year zero Salem has been building a league of Paladins that follow the code of Salem. The number has risen high for the last three decades, new worthy knights of justice and righteousness have trained by the few veterans of the early years.
