Good Intentions

6.3.03
Everyone has good intentions. Well, at least most people do, especially when it comes to helping other people. But do people ever actually stop to think whether the person you want to help is going to accept that help as easily as you are willing to offer it? Most of the time they will either be greatful of the offer but tell you not to worry or they'll tell you to fuck off. Its not always our business what happens to other people. I mean, if it's a friend who is in trouble, of course we should try and help them. And sometimes the same goes for strangers, but strangers are less likely to accept your help than anyone you know and love.

I don't actually know what made me think of this today. Well, actually I do but its quite a long story that I don't want to go into, but anyways, I was thinking about how people are always so interested in other peoples problems. And whether or not their intentions are good, they always seem to come across as just plain nosey. Or that's how I percieve it. I mean, there are somethings that people don't want others to get involved in. And that's fare enough. I would hate it if some random stranger saw me crying or something and came up to me and asked what was wrong. It's none of their god damn business. So I don't feel the need to go up to people when they're upset. If they want help, then they can ask for it.

Actually, there was alot of things I thought about today. None of which I can really put down in words. But it really made me think whether or not my help is really welcome, especially when It's not asked for.
