Me on BDF Saakje at a show at Fairwind Farms. This was probably in the fall of 2000 or 2001. It was my first and only show and I placed second in junior walk/trot dressage out of a class of 17! You can bet I was proud :D
My name is Samantha Rayanne White and I am 17 years old as of September 28th, 2004. My hobbies include english riding (mostly dressage), volunteering at a stable, reading (fantasy, horror and mystery are my favourites), drawing (horses and anthros, mostly), playing video games (on the PC, GameCube, GBA and DS.. I like RPGs, sims, real-time strategies.. etc.), and of course, collecting model horses!
I like to think of myself as a good person but due to social anxiety I am often unable to cope in social situations (I usually fare okay online, but sometimes I get worked up). I am currently homeschooled and am really in a variety of grades.. I'm supposed to be in 12th but I'm taking 12th, 11th and 10th grade courses.
I have fourteen pets and I love them all, but I can't afford to keep a horse. That's fine by me, as long as I get to spend time with them elsewhere!
I volunteered and rode at Beaver Dam Farms (a stable dedicated entirely to Norwegian Fjords) from 1999 to 2002, at Friendly Breezes Stables from 2002-2003, and from 2003-present at Fairwind Farms.
Me and BDF Nova, the best horse I ever knew. He was three at the time, and I was.. About 12. This was in 1999. He was sold shortly after the photo was taken :(
Me riding Sierra at Friendly Breezes. I look horrible because after I started riding there the instructor taught me things completely different from what I already knew.. They happened to be wrong in the end, and I was thoroughly confused as a rider.
Riding Pebbles on a trail ride, also at Friendly Breezes. Pebbles was absolutely psycho and kept taking off on me.. I was horrified when jumping with her and the experience was not enjoyable at all.
Me and Splash at Fairwind Farms! I love it there.. No bossy instructors and no psycho horses! ;p Splash is a huuuuuge paint gelding and he's a bumpy ride, but I love him!
