ELLIOTT BLOCK, Ph.D., CEO. Since 1971, Dr. Block has been involved in senior management positions with multinational and entrepreneurial companies including Becton Dickinson, Syva, Hygeia Sciences and Medicorp. He has been intimately involved in public and private financing, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, turn-around situations, technology licensing and negotiating international distribution agreements. Dr. Block was President, CEO and a Director of worldwide medical diagnostic companies including Medicorp, Inc. and Hygeia Services, Inc. Dr. Block has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Brandeis University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Queens College of CUNY. He was an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow at the University of K�ln.
LAUREN BLOCK, CONSULTANT, has over 8 years of successful sales and marketing experience with personal care and lifestyle brands with special expertise in the organic/natural market. She has expertise with business start-up, account management, planning, broker/representatives management, training and education, product and brand development, packaging, product launch, promotion and merchandising. After receiving her BA at the University of Colorado in Boulder, she has held progressively more senior positions at companies, some of which grew to be household names during her tenure. These include White Wave soymilk, Burt's Bees, HappyGreenBee and Pangea Organics skincare products. She has also consulted for natural food companies and can use her experience to assist you in developing your marketing and sales programs. |
