GROWING PAINS
I don't know how much you guys know about the tv show Growing Pains, but I just saw the movie version on Sunday night (Nov 5, 2000). It's a very old show that characterizes much of family matters and how they come about to solving it together as a whole family.
Dad is called Jason Seaver, Mom as Maggie Seaver, Mike is the first one, Ben second, Carol third and Kristy last.
Carol, who is a complete nerd and one whom I would have never thought ever getting married, is now married to some campaign manager who is running a campaign against Carol's mom. Carol's mom was running for office!
Ben, on the other hand, is just wild like Mike used to be during his teenage years. Ben was arrested for minor charges...running away from cops w/out knowing so...which puts his mom in a hole since she's running for office.
Mike is now married and very different from his teenage years where he's the typical Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell (That's a pretty cool tv show too. Used to watch that stuff after school). I used to wanna be like Mike/Zack! Not Mike as Michael Jordan. hehe all naughty & all that if you know what I mean!
Maggie & Jason are two interesting mommy & daddy. Jason, a psychiatrist, who always tries to voice his psycho terms & opinions to wife & kids. Sometimes they work and other times they become the laughingstock! On the other hand, Maggie, an ex-journalist & a mom & an office runner, attempts to make a career while taking care of the kids. I guess they raise their kids quite well since I enjoy watching the show. So many things that you can learn about what mistakes other people have made and how you as an individual can avoid such in the future & make things better for everyone around you. Keeps me awake every night during the summer. Well, glad I didn't miss the movie. Thanks to my bro Nelson! Well, that's about what I gotta share about my favorite tv show! :)
