| My own personal horse, Seamus is a 1999 16.2 dark bay Thoroughbred gelding by Magabird out of Latin Lyric. Carrying the bloodlines of Storm Bird, Native Dancer, Secretariat, and Nijinsky, Seamus certainly has the breeding to suceed as a sporthorse! His fabulous gaits and extreme athleticism make him both a challenge and a pleasure to ride. Someday we hope to go Preliminary (and beyond!). | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Seamus' Training: When I bought him at 6, Seamus had been ridden only a handful of times and gelded about six months prior. He competed in his first Starter Level horse trial only 4 months later. This past spring, we began eventing lessons with championship Area III rider and coach Carol Ogden of FHTA, as well as classical dressage lessons with biomechanics expert Dibbie Dunnam.
