~Coulee Bend Evening Attire~ has one of the nicest and easy going temperments we could ask for. He is following in his brother's footsteps as far as easiness to train, temperment, kindness and gentleness. He is an absolutely wonderful horse to work with. His dam, Lady Ellen York is a 1/2 Lippit mare. His Sire, UVM Thomise, has many championships and is from the many time champion, UVM Promise. We are enjoying every minute with him and his brother. He and his brother "Soda", are definately one of those horses that are irreplaceable! Artie was kept a stallion until almost 3 1/2 years old. We just had him gelded so we could keep him for ourselves. He has produced two awesome fillies for us while he was a stallion. They are for sale on the foals page.

Here's 13 yr old Dean Jones driving Artie after a short time of harness training. Pretty awesome temperment on this guy! He had just teased a mare minutes prior to this.
We have made the horribly hard decision to offer this boy for sale as a gelding. We had him gelded in Sept./02 and after taking him into the mountains, and on numerous trail rides, my hubby has decided that he feels to small underneath him. It's too bad cause he's just an awesome horse that can do anything asked of him. I was going to trade him for my engagement horse but there's a bond there that I just can't get over so I don't need two horses to try and ride. Artie is about 14.2 hh and would make an awesome ladies mount. He would excel in the show ring or do great competing in gymkana events. Artie will go to a good home only. He's a very special boy. Enquiries welcome.
