Red XIII

Red XIII's real name is Nanaki. He is of a different race than the others, he's similar to a lion or tiger, yet he can speak like everyone else. He also has incredible longevity. His father was Seto, a great warrior who saved the Canyon from their enemies, the Gi tribe. Red XIII was not aware of this and is ashamed by his father, whom he thought abandoned his mother and escaped like a coward. He discovers the truth when you first visit Cosmo Canyon(his home) on disc one.
