Rules and Regulations
I've played before, the rules haven't changed, so just give me the #@*% entry form (click here)
Rules and Regulations
For the first round, pick one team to win from each series.  In the small box beside your pick, enter the number of games the series will go (4, 5, 6, or 7).
For the second round, pick two teams from each conference to win.  In the small box beside your pick, enter the number of games the series will go (4, 5, 6, or 7).
Keep in mind there is no guarantee who will play who as the highest seeded team will always play the lowest seeded team (the teams in between will play each other).  So it may happen that both teams you pick to proceed into the third round end up playing each other in the second round.
For the third round pick one team from each conference to win.  In the small box beside your pick, enter the number of games the series will go (4, 5, 6, or 7).
For the fourth round pick the winner between the two teams--the Stanley Cup Winner.  In the small box beside your pick, enter the number of games the series will go (4, 5, 6, or 7).
Also pick any five players (forward or defenceman).  You may not pick the same player more than once.

The points are calculated as follows:
5 points for each correct team proceeding to the next round +
2 additional points will be awarded if you get the correct number of games for the team proceeding to the next round, regardless of who your picked team plays +
each players points (goals + assists).

Tie Breaker:
1. The person with the most team points
2. The person with the most player points
If still tied after this, the prize will be split between the two.

The price, as always, is $10 in Canadian Funds.
The prizes depend on the number of entries.  (last time there were 25 entries: first place$150; second place$75; and third place$25.

Entries must be received no later than Wednesday, April 9 (prior to the puck drop of the first game).

Please indicate on the entry form how often you would like to be updated.  The website will only be updated at the end of the rounds (if that...its too time consuming).

On Sunday, all pool entrants will receive in PDF format the first pool update including a quick pick reference guide so you can see who everyone else picked.  Please use it to ensure that your picks are correctly represented and save it for future reference.
