The dates are set for the 2009 National Cowboy Poetry Rodeo. September 10-12 in beautiful Montrose, CO. The NCPR will be partnering with Tough Enough To Wear Pink to raise money for the local cancer center.

Our good friend Rod was able to attend this event in 2007 several months before his unfortunate death. Rod won a silver buckle in the competition. The Rockin' R was well represented at the last NCPR, lets see if we can do it again, maybe we can call it The Rockin' R bid for Rod '09. I don't know. Anyhow, hope to see you there.
