PRAISE

    This people I have formed for Myself;
    They shall declare My praise.
    ISAIAH 43:21

You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a
Holy nation. His own special people, that you may
Proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of
    Darkness into His marvelous light.
    1 PETER 2:9

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice
of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving
    thanks to His name.
    HEBREWS 13:15

Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
    For God is the King of all the earth;
    Sing praises with understanding.
    PSALM 47:1, 6, 7

    Praise the Lord!
    For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
    PSALM 147:1

    I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.
    2 SAMUEL 22:4

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall con-
    tinually be in my mouth.
    PSALM 34:1

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the
city of our God, in His holy mountain.
    PSALM 48:1

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who
orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of
    God.
    PSALM 50:23

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His
goodness, and for His wonderful works to the chil-
    dren of men!
    PSALM 107:8

Because Your loving kindness is better than life,
    My lips shall praise You.
    Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
    PSALM 63:3-5

Let my mouth be filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all the day.
    But I will hope continually,
And will praise You yet more and more.
    PSALM 71:8, 14

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
    PSALM 92:1

    The Lord is great and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.
    PSALM 96:4

At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing
hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to
    them.
    ACTS 16:25

SERVING GOD

You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear
Him, and keep His commandments and obey His
voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
    DEUTERONOMY 13:4

Then Jesus said to him, Away with you, Satan! For it
is written, You shall worship the Lord your God,
and Him only you shall serve.
    MATTHEW 4:10

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate
the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to
the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God
    and mammon.
    MATTHEW 6:24

Take careful heed to do the commandment and the law
which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you,
to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to
keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to
serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
    JOSHUA 22:5

It shall be that if you earnestly obey My command-
ments which I command you today, to love the Lord
your God and serve Him with all your heart and with
all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your
land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain,
that you may gather in your grain, your new wine,
    and your oil.
And I will send grass in your fields for your live-
stock, that you may eat and be filled.
    DEUTERONOMY 11:13-15

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
    service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good and acceptable and per-
    fect will of God.
    ROMANS 12:1, 2

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require
of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all
His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul.
    DEUTERONOMY 10:12

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly
love, in honor giving preference to one another; not
lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the
Lord; distributing to the needs of the saints, given
    to hospitality.
    ROMANS 12:10, 11, 13

You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless
your bread and your water. And I will take sickness
away from the midst of you.
No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your
land; I will fulfill the number of your days.
    EXODUS 23:25, 26

If it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for
yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the
gods which your fathers served that were on the other
side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in
whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house,
    we will serve the Lord.
    JOSHUA 24:15

    Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
    PSALM 100:2

OBEDIENCE

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the
Lord your God which I command you today; and
the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of
the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way
which I command you today, to go after other gods
    which you have not known.
    DEUTERONOMY 11:26-28

So Samuel said: Has the Lord as great delight in
burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice
of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed than the fat of rams.
    1 SAMUEL 15:22

If you love Me, keep My commandments.
He who has My commandments and keeps them,
it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be
loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest
    Myself to him.
    JOHN 14:15, 21

Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
    ISAIAH 48:18

But this is what I commanded them, saying, Obey
My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be
My people. And walk in all the ways that I have com-
manded you, that it may be well with you.
    JEREMIAH 7:23

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep
    His commandments.
He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God
is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in
    Him.
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also
to walk just as He walked.
    1 JOHN 2:3-6

Peter and the other apostles answered and said: We
ought to obey God rather than men.
    ACTS 5:29

So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and
My commandments, as your father David walked,
then I will lengthen your days.
    1 KINGS 3:14

Teach me to do Your will,
    For You are my God;
    Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.
    PSALM 143:10

And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: Hear,
O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in
your hearing today, that you may learn them and be
    careful to observe them.
Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord
your God has commanded you; you shall not turn
aside to the right hand or to the left.
You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord
your God has commanded you, that you may live and
that it may be well with you, and that you may pro-
long your days in the land which you shall possess.
    DEUTERONOMY 5:1, 32, 33
