Lee Herrick
Lee Herrick was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted at eleven months. His first book of poems, This Many Miles from Desire, is forthcoming from WordTech Communications in Summer 2007. His poems have been piblished in the Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, Berkeley Poetry Review, Kawaii Paacific Review, The Bloomsbury Review, Quercus Review, MiPOesies, and Many Mountains Moving, among others, and in anthologies such as Seeds from a Silent Tree: An Anthology of Korean Adoptees, Hurricane Blues: Poems About Katrina and Rita, and Highway 99: A Literary Journey through California's Great Central Valley, 2nd edition (Fall 2007). He is the founding editor of the literary magazine In the Grove and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He is a Professor of English at Fresno City College and lives in Fresno, California.
