This is the coupler I got from mcmaster carr. It good for more than 2500 in/lbs of torque so I think I shouldn't give me any trouble. The plate on the tennant (ETEK) motor you see is a 1/2" aluminum plate made by http://www.robotcombat.com/ it even comes with the 8 bolts to mount to the motor in the pre-countersunk holes.
