Photo Album Project

Some of you already knew I have been scanning the albums. And you might want to know what the heck is taking me so long to finish.

Well, as of Thursday, April 19, 2001 I have scanned 2,000 photos for a total of 120 megabytes of space. A single CD-Rom can hold 650 megabytes. Looking at the pile of photos still left to scan I am hoping to fit the rest of them on a single CD-Rom.

But just the shear number of photos left to do is not the only thing slowing me down. Some of the photos were un-sorted with no marking as to what and who the photo is of. So I will be putting a Wanted poster up of photos I need help identifying. If you can ID it PLEASE email and let me know.

There is still another problem. A lot of the photos are in poor condition. I am far from professional photo re-toucher. But here is an example of what I have been doing.
