-Where as the task of evangelism is something that must be the concern of every Bible Believing Christians; Mtt.28 : 19-20 - Whereas sign and wonders are visible manifestations of the hands of God at work; (Jn. 4 : 48) - Whereas the power of God isn't only manifested in the area of salvation, but� indeed in healing, deliverance, tongues and various other supernatural signs and wonders ; (Acts 2 : 1-13 ; 3 : 1-10 ; 5 : 12-16 ; etc) - Whereas� the Gospel of Jesus Christ ought to be proclaimed by the power of the Holy Spirit and, every supernatural force to lead stony - hearts to repentance ; (Mtt. 3 : 17 ; Acts 3 : 19) - Whereas the task of carrying out the mandates of the Great Commission, requires the concerted effort of all Believers working together� in unity for the realization of a common goal (Acts 7 : 42 - 47 ; Eph. 4 : 1 - 16). - Whereas the power of God is absent in some evangelistic effort, because Christians forget to be violent in prayer ; (I Thess 5 : 17 ; Jer 33 : 3 ; Isa. 40 : 31 etc.) Being persuaded and fully convinced about the vision that gave birth to the establishment ofthis Ministry, be it resolve that this Ministry be established with the nomenclature : Boannages�Evangelistic Ministries International ; AKA BEMI. ARTICLE I - NAME The name of this Ministry shall be the Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International. ARTICLE II - MISSION STATEMENT The Mission statement of the Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International is summarized in the vision statement:� To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power to all Mankind and use the authority that has been fully offered to all true servants of God to cast out demons ( Lk.10 :18 ; Mk.1 : 23 - 27 ; Lk.4 : 33 - 36) ; bless and curse (Mk.18 : 18 - 19) ; heal the sick (Isa . 61 : 1 - 11, Mk. 3 : 15 - 17) ; Proclaim Salvation (Acts 4 : 12, II cor 7 :10) ; deliver the oppressed and suppressed in the name of Jesus (Zec. 7 : 10, Isa 53 : 7)� To reach the world with the Gospel Message to all the nations through crusades, follow up Ministries, Bible Teachings, counseling, and Prayer Ministries. ARTICLE III - AIMS & OBJECTIVES The Aims and objectives of the Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International one as follows: 1) To Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all Mankind, so that souls might be won into the kingdom of God. (Lk 10 : 17, Acts 2) 2) To Collaborate with churches to do the work of Ministry, thereby� evangelizing wherever the Holy Sprint leads us to Minister. 3) To support the Ministry of existing churches through� Follow - up , Counseling, Discipleship, Teaching and Preaching Ministries. 4) To Motivate Christians everywhere to adopt Prayer as the essential back-up, fuel and key for the flow of the power of God in the Ministry - a vital secret without which we will never see break-throughs in our Ministries. 5) To reach the world with the Gospel Message, through mass , personal� and door- to- door evangelism. 6) To work� together with other Churches� to reap the harvest of souls� world-wide and together breast-feed new convents to maturity in the faith. ARTICLE IX - STATEMENT OF FAITH The Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International is a Bible believing organization and therefore stands for the following tenants of faith: 1) We believe in the Holy Bible (both Old & New Testament) to be inspired of God 2) We believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah through whom God's perfect plan for the salvation of mankind was revealed. 3) We believe in God as the ORIGINATOR of all Creation. 4) We believe in the Holy Spirit who is the comforter, energizer, enlightener, and giver of wisdom and understanding to those who earnestly seek Him. 5) We believe in the TRINITY through which the unity of the Body of Christ is exemplified. 6) We believe in the Church� as the Bride of Christ, which will be received� without sport and blemish by the Lord and Master on the day of judgement(Eph. 4:1 -16;� 22 - 23) 7.�� We believe in signs and wonders which serve as forceful means of bringing sinful man to repentance.(Jn. 4:43 - 54). 8. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God; as a dignified Being. 9. We believe in eternity� - either in Heaven and enjoy eternal life with Jesus or in Hell and suffer damnation with Satan. 10. We believe that the god of this world is Satan, and his final end/normal domain is Hell. ARTICLE�� V -� ORGANIZATION Section 1:�� Main�Organs. There shall be three main organs of The Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International: a) The Advisory Council. b) The Secretariat c) The Ministries: i) Evangelism Ministry. ii) Counseling Ministry. iii) Training and Discipleship Ministry. iv) Music Ministry. v) Prayer and Intercession Ministry. vi) Social Concern Ministry. vii) Follow up Ministry. Section 2:� Function of Main Organs. The functions of the main organs of The Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International shall be as follows : a) The advisory council : The� Advisory Council shall be the Main decision� Making Body within the operation of the Boanages� Evangelistic Ministries International. It shall provide godly counsel� for the Visionary� and Founder (who shall also carry the title Evangelist) of the Ministry. The advisory council shall receive all reports, elect or ratify all appointment, approve annual budgets and all Major financial expenditure and shall be the sole Governing Body of the� Ministry. b) The secretariat : the secretariat of the Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International, shall be as possible for carrying� oil all administrative duties on behalf of the Ministry. The secretariat shall therefore be the main or official point of contact for� the Ministry. c) The Ministries : there shall be seven main Ministries through which the ideals of BEMI will be implemented. These Ministries shall comprise the following: i) Evangelism Department:� This Department shall be responsible for all outreach programmes within the Ministry. ii) Counseling Department:� This Department shall be entrusted with the task of providing counseling services for new converts, Believers who need Christian counseling in particular areas, youths guidance especially for youths who are in crisis situations, marital and pre-marital counseling etc. iii) Training and Discipleship Department:� This Department shall be concerned with the organization of various training programmes to equip the Body of Christ. iv) Music Department:� This Department shall be responsible for the inspirational aspects of worship.� This Department shall ensure that musical talents within the Body are�� developed to the fullest, so that nothing will be left out during praise and worship times.� In this regard, the Ministry shall ensure that all the necessary musical instruments are available to make worship meaningful. v) Prayer and Intercession Department:� This Department shall be the power House of the Ministry.� Prayer and Intercession shall be the main backbone of� BEMI -� this shall not be compromise for anything. vi) Social� Concern Department:� BEMI will not only be concerned about the spiritual needs� of the people shall benefit from this Ministry.� The Ministry of BEMI will definitely be balanced and holistic.�� We shall preach the Gospel with theview to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and material needs of the people we reach for Christ. vii) Follow - up Department:� This Department shall basically be entrusted with the task of gathering�the harvest.��It� is our prayer and ardent� desire that all those we� reach�for Christ will be properly led to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thoroughly cancelled and taught about the things of God, prayed for and always shown that love that can swiftly move him or her to be a part of the family of God for good. Section 3 : Composition: a) The advisory council : the advisory council of BEMI shall consist of seven members : 1) The visionary / Founder / Evangelist 2) The treasurer/ Finance Officer 3) The Secretary General / Administrator 4) The Director of Ministries 5) Assistant to the Founder (Evangelist) 6) Business Manager 7) Confidential secretary 5) SECRETARIAT: The secretariat shall Consist of all full time staff as follows. a) Visionary / Founder / Evangelist b) Assistant to the Founder Evangelist c) Secretary General Administrator d) Treasurer Finance officer e) Director of Ministries f) The outreach secretary / Liaison Office g) The Business Manager h) Follow up Secretary i) Relief / Social secretary j) Confidential Secretary k) Maintenance / Technical officer l) Support� Staff C) MINISTRIES: There shall be seven Ministries which shall be the main vehicles through which BEMI shall function effectively. Each of these Ministries shall have to function by the help of a five-man working committee, with the various desk officers as secretaries to their respective committees.� The chair persons of these committees shall be appointed by the visionary / Founder / Evangelic. 4) MEETINGS: a) Quorum: For any formal Meeting of BEMI, a quorum of 2/3 majority of the stipulated voting members�shall be required, before the meeting shall be declared opened b) Sequence of meeting : Except for� consequences, the various Main organs of BEMI shall Meet are follows : 1) The advisory council : the advisory council shall meet quarterly. 2) The Secretariat : The secretariat shall meet daily save Sundays. The Secretariat shall specifically meet as follows : - Week days : (1) 9 an to noon 2 for to 5 for - week ends - Saturday : (2) 9 an� to 12 Noon - Sunday : Free ARTICLE VI : OFFICERS Section 1 : Officials of the Ministry There shall be fifteen officials of the Ministry including twelve� full-time staff� members: a) The founder / visionary / Evangelized b) Assistant to the founder / Evangelized c) Secretary� general / Administrators d) Treasurer / Finance officer e) Director of Ministers f) The outreach secretary liaison officer g) The business Manager h) The Follow up Secretary i) Relief / Social Secretary j) Confidential Secretary k) Maintenance / Technical office l) Support Staff These Shall be the officials of the Ministry

Section 2 : Duties of officers a) The Fonder / Visionary / Evangelist i) Shall be the head of the Ministry ii) Shall be the chief Executive of the Ministry iii) Shall chair all formal Meetings of the Ministry iv) Shall be the pivot� signatory of the Ministry's Bank Alc v) Shall endorse all activities carried out in the name of the Ministry vi) Shall promote and protect� the good image of the Ministry everywhere vii) Shall Teach, preach and live God's word. viii) Shall performance such other duties as would be the best interest of the Ministry b) The Asst.. To the Fonder / Visionary / Evangelized : i) Shall perform all the duties of the fonder/ Visionary/ Evangelized in the absence of the substantive holders. ii) Shall perform such other duties as may be required by the head of the Ministry and the Advisory Council c) The Secretary General / Administrator i) Shall convene all official Meetings of the Ministry. ii) Shall be the� Custodian of all official documents of the Ministry iii) Shall take Minutes of proceedings at all formal� Meetings of the Ministry. iv) Shall be responsible for all official correspondence v) Shall ensure that decisions� made at all formal meetings are disseminated and executed. vi) Shall be responsible for the recruitment of staff and take care of all performed issues vii) Shall be signatory of the Ministry's Bank Account viii) Shall work in consultation with the founder, the Director of the Ministry and the treasures. ix) Shall have discretional powers to make vital� decisions on behalf of the Ministry when it is absolutely necessary.x) Shall be the official voice of the Ministry in the absence of the founder. xi) Shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Advisory council. d) The Treasurer / Finance Officer. i) Shall be� signatory� to the Ministry's bank Account ii) Shall be the official custodian of the Ministry's� funds. iii) Shall supervise all revenue collection and disbursements;and also see that proper control measures are put in place to ensure the wise use of God's Money. iv) Shall Maintain a proper book of accounts where all income and expenditure are properly and correctly recorded. v) Shall provide annual financial� reports and budgets at the regular sittings of the Advisory council meeting or whenever� necessary. vi) Shall initial financial policies and make sure that such policies are adhered to for thefinancial survival of the Ministry. vii) Shall work in collaboration with the Founder and the General Secretary / Administrator and Business Manager. viii) Shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Founder / Evangelist and the General Secretary / Administrator. e) Director of Ministries i) Shall supervise the Ministries. ii) Shall ensure that the spiritual aspect of the Ministry is always kept� in View . iii) Shall monitor all programmes� and projects implement in the name of the Ministry. iv) Shall ensure that all the resources of the Ministry are thoroughly harnessed for the common good of all and to the glory of God. v) Shall perform such other duties as may be deemed necessary in consultation with the Visionary� and the Administrator. f) The Outreach secretary / liaison Officer i) Shall ensure that future target areas are thoroughly reached prior to the implementation of any Outreach Programme. ii) Shall coordinate fund raising programmes for Outreach� Ministry iii) Shall see that all necessary plans are in place for all proposed programmes. iv) Shall work hand in hand with people on the ground to formulate� working committees which shall represent the general voice and opinion of the target community for the future programmes g) Business Manager i) ���� Shall prepare and negotiate contracts on behalf of the Ministry ii) Shall coordinate all assignments that have to do with landed property, leave agreements and rentals etc. iii) Shall make sure that proper inventory is taken of all Ministry property. iv) Shall work in collaboration with the Founder, Administrator and Treasurer in finding new Donors for the Ministry. v) Shall be responsible for all procurement, Management and control of all overheads and for quality control. vi) Shall perform such other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Founder and the Advisory council. h) The Follow up Secretary i) ��� Shall coordinate counseling programmes, particularly after crusades. iii) Shall coordinate visitation programmes. iv) Shall formulated and coordinate correspondence courses for new believers. v) Shall find all possible ways to maintain contact with all those whose lives have been touched by this Ministry. vi) Shall perform such other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Evangelist and Advisory Council j) The relief and Social Secretary i) Shall wonk in collaboration with the Director of Ministries to identify areas where Material help is needed . ii) Shall be ready to work under stress for long hours and for a length of time. iii) Shall be ready to be exposed to all sorts� of hazards as he deals with the public. iv) Shall monitor all relief programmers v) Shall promote the vision and plans of the Ministry to� Donors Overseas and elsewhere. vi) Shall perform such other duties as may� be deemed necessary by the Founder and the Advisory Council. J) Confidential Secretary i) Shall be personal secretary to the Founder/ Visionary / Evangelist. ii) Shall be responsible for booking all appointments iii) Shall organize all travelling plans of the Founder/visionary Evangelist iv) Shall be responsible for the preparation of speeches/talks and messages that has to be delivered by the Founder / Visionary / Evangelist v) Shall perform such other duties as may be deemed necessary by the founder / visionary / Evangelist. k) Maintenance / Technical officer i) Shall be responsible for the maintenance of the ministry 's equipments ii) Shall ensure that all the equipments that will be vitally needed for programmes, are assembled in the right place and fixed in readiness for such programs . iii) Shall make sure that equipments belonging to the ministry are kept in a secure place. iv) Shall perform such other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Founder and Director of Ministries l) Support Staff i) Shall be responsible� for the collection and distribution of mails. ii) Shall be responsible to all the senior Staff members iii) Shall carry out all menial jobs within the administrative set-up. iv) Shall perform such other duties as be deemed necessary by the Secretary / Administrator Section 3 Tenure of Office a) Advisonary concil members : these are elected in office for a period of three years and are liable to be re -elected ; depending on their performance and dedication b) Full time Staff These are appointed by the Advisory council on the recommendation of the Evangelist. These can stay in office for as long as they want to serve, provided there is no cause /reason that could warrant� their remover. Article VII - MEMBERSHIP a) Qualification for membership As long as people are ready and willing to submit to the authority of the ministry, they can be members. Membership is open to all� regardless of gender, race nationality physical disability and the like. In addition to the above preamble, those intending to become members of BEMI Must : 1) Be morally and spiritually Sober. 2) Pledge themselves to uphold all the principles inherent in this manuscript. 3) Be willing to support the work of God, both financially and morally. 4) Respect and obey to the leadership of the Ministry b) type of membership : these shall be two main types of membership as follow : 1) Full members: This category of membership refers to those who pledge themselves to be involved with� every aspect of the ministry. These are referred to as full members. 2) Associate members : This category has to do with those who are engaged with other Ministry but yet want to be part and parcel of BEMI. These are referred to as Associate members. ARTICLE VIII - FINANCE The Ministry shall raise fund both locally and internationally, by the following means: 1) Membership dues 2) Donations 3) Pledges 4) Designated funds 5) Appeals / Special fund-raising ARTICLE IX - DISCIPLINE BEMI is a Christian organization and therefore maintains that there must be order, sound conduct and discipline within the organizational set- up.� Where there is conflict, the biblical� mandate as spelt out in Mtt . 18 : 15 - 18 shall first be applied. If this fails then we can� apply administrative procedures as follows : 1) Summon a special Judiciary committee to look� into the matter. 2) After the investigation, reports of their findings must be made and forwarded� to the Advisory�Council for necessary action. 3) On receipt of the report from the Judiciary committee, the Advisory Council must go� ahead�to execute the Judiciary measures that they see is fit to be carried out. 4) Whatever disciplinary action is taken against� the culprit, must be taken with the view to regain him / her in� a refined but repentant manner. ARTICLE X - AFFILIATION: The� Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International shall seek to affiliate herself with� bodies with which they share similar views. ARTICLE XI - PROPERTY: The Ministry shall acquire Property for the furtherance of the work here on earth. Such� properties shall be acquired with due cognizance to the laws of the land. The Ministry shall therefore acquire property by the following Means : 1) By Purchase 2) By Mortgage 3) By Donation ARTICLE XII - ELECTION/APPOINTMENTS: Elections shall be conducted by the advisory council at a special� meetings summoned for this propose. Elections one conducted in keeping with the following electoral guidelines : 1) Time : At a specially convened meeting of the advisory council for the propose of elections. 2) Venue : At an advisory council meeting 3) Eligibility : All full members are eligible to vote and be voted for 4) Competence : People are voted for in office with due cognizance to their ability to perform. ARTICLE XIII - AMENDEMENT The following guidelines shall be kept in view for any amendments that shall be made in this instrument : 1) Proposed amendments must be put in waiting and sent to the Secretary General at least a couple of weeks prior to the special advisory council that will be dealing with it 2) Proposed portions to be amended must be read loud and clear to the audience present. 3) Proposed amendment must be thoroughly debated, prior to any decision that would be taken on such a portion 4) Proposed amendment must have the support of 2/3 Majority of Members present at the special advisory council meeting. ARTICLE XIV - DEFINITION OF TERMS The following terms being used in this instrument shall be explained thus: 1) BEMI - This refers to the acronym of the Ministry. This in other words is how the Boanages Evangelistic Ministries International shall be known in brief. 2) AC - This refers to the advisory council. It is the acronym or� the other way of referring to the advisory council. 3) SAC - This has to do with the special advisory council which shall be responsible for the conduct of elections. 4) BOANAGES : This is the centre of� the vision which led to the founding of this Ministryaccording to Mtt . 3 : 17 - 18. 5) INSTRUMENT : This refers� to this constitution where the basic ideals of this Ministry are clearly defined.���� |
