Films can inspire us, sadden us, they can highlight the simple beauty of life, and depict the sometimes brutal parts of existence.
Some films cause us to ponder the profound mysteries of life, others give voices to the oppressed; some films relive the past, others plot out the future; some films manipulate us, some expose lies; some films are important, and some merely allow us to pass the time on a rainy afternoon.
What I love about films is their ability to tell a story, to take the audience to a new world and to share a vision.
With all the films out these days, you'd think it'd be a pretty easy exercise. The catch, however, is that I have no experience, limited budget and one heck of a vision for how I want my film to be.
