HD: d8

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Athars gain no new proficiencies.

Spell Immunity (Ex): All Athars are immune to the following spells: bestow curse, blasphemy, doom, holy word, and
    geas/quest.

Divine Resistance (Ex): The Ather gains a +2 resistance bonus agianst divine spells.

Divine and Holy Damage Immunity (Ex): The Athar is immune to divine damage (such as that from a flamestrike spell) and
from holy damage (such as the extra damage from a holy weapon).

Banishment (Sp): 1/day, the Athar may send away an extraplanar creature as per the banishment spell as cast by a cleric of a
level equal to the Athar's class level.

Divine Prevention (Su): The Ather may, 1/day as a standard action, bestow a saving throw bonus equal to his Athar class level
upon another person. The resistance bonus applies to the next divine spell cast upon the recipient, even beneficial spells such as
cure light wounds or bless. If the recipient is unwilling, the Athar must make a successful touch attack as a standard action and
the recipient must succeed at a Will save (DC 10 + Athar class level + Athar's Wisdom modifier) or be subject to the bonus
.

Divine Cancellation (Ex): The Athar may counterspell any divine spell cast with a spell of an equal level; it need not be the same
spell. The Athar must choose a target, ready an action, and make a Spellcraft check as normal.

Divine Retribution (Ex): The Athar can reflect a divine spell back upon its caster. When a successful saving throw is made, the
Athar may choose to cause the spell to rebound back on the caster instead of failing. This does not work on area effect spells or
spells targeting another creature only on those that specifically target the Athar, and only on divine spells.

Divine Interference (Su): The Athar emits a field that interferes with divine spellcasting (except his own). Anyone within 10-feet
of the Athar who casts a divine spell must make a caster check (DC 10 + Athar's clas slevel + Athar's Wisdom modifier) or lose
the spell. This ability may be supressed and resumed at will as a free action.

Nondetection (Su): The Athar benefits from the effects of a nondetection spell as cast by a sorcerer of the Athar's class level
(DC 15 + Athar's class level). It may be supressed or resumed at will as a free action.

Divine Disavowel (Su): The Athar gains divine spell resistance equal to 10 + Athar's character level. This does not stack with
other spell resistances. If subject to more than one, use the better value.

Spells per Day (Sp): Starting at 3rd level, the Athar gains effective levels in his prior divine spellcasting class as it pertains to how
many spells per day and what level he can cast. If the Athar had more than one divine spellcasting class, he must choose which
one to advance upon attaining a new level. Ex-clerics regain their spellcasting abilities they had prior to becoming ex-clerics. They
can pick two new domains upon regaining their spellcasting ability. No other class features or abilities are regained.
