This is the first in my quest to create Prestige Classes specific to the deities of Greyhawk. Allitur is the LG lesser god of ethics and propriety. You can download the Word document here. This class is Copyright 2001 Evan Miller and is presented under the Open Gaming License.

The faith of Allitur believes in law. Very often, followers of the faith, especially clerics, serve as judges and arbiters in disputes. The Holy Judge of Allitur has dedicated himself to law with a zeal. He serves as Judge, Jury and Executioner in many cases. They are dedicated to law and will uphold it no matter how onerous the law of the land may seem. Wandering Judges are welcome almost anywhere, even in areas where evil is the law, because they are sworn to uphold the areas laws no matter what. They will not personally act in a way that is against their alignment, but will pass judgement when needed or asked according to the law of the land.
Clerics most often fill this duty in service to their deity. Paladins find the calling to their taste as well. Other classes don't become Holy Judges very often, but the occasional monk or Wizard/sorcerer graces the ranks of the Holy Judges. Druids, and Rogues almost never become Judges. Druids and Barbarians cannot become judges due to their chaotic natures.
Adventuring Judges seek to spread the word of law and seek to dispense justice within the lands they travel. NPC Judges are usually found presiding over trials and disputes in smaller towns, especially those lacking any major kind of judicial representation. On occasion they're found hunting a criminal who has been found guilty of heinous crimes.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Holy Judges are proficient in the use of all simple weapons and all armor and shields.

Discern Lie (Su): At 1st level the Judge may discern lies 2/day as per the spell of the same name.

True Strike (Sp): The Judge receives divine guidance for meting out justice. He gains the benefits of the true strike spell 1/day.
This increases to 2/day at 6th level.

Spear of Law (Su): When wielding a shortspear, the Judge gains a +2 holy bonus to attack and damage vs. chaotic opponents.
This bonus applies to opponents with damage reduction and stacks with any enhancement bonuses the weapon may already have.

Smite Chaos (Su): At 4th level, the Judge gains the ability to smite chaos 1/day. The Player decides to use it before the attack
and may add his Wisdom bonus to his attack roll. If the attack is successful, the judge causes an extra +1 damage per level of
Judge. If the attack misses or the creature struck is not chaotic, the use still counts towards the number/day he is allowed and no
extra damage is done. At 8th level, he can use this ability 2/day.

Zone of Truth (Sp): At 5th level, the judge may make a zone of truth as per the spell, using his Judge level as his caster level for
    the spell.

Mark of Justice (Sp): The Judge may, 1/day, use the spell mark of justice on a criminal. The judge must have tried or heard
testimony on the subject. Viewing a criminal act is enough to allow the use of this power. It functions as per the spell of the same
name with the Judges level used as caster level.

Lawful Sight (Su): The Judge benefits from the effects of the spell true seeing, however, the effect is permanent and activated at
will. No longer may chaotic or evil criminals hide from the sight of a Judge.
