This prestige class is a modified version of the character class from the Final Fantasy series of console RPGs. This class is probably going to undergo some major tweaking. Most likely, I'll implement a different set of abilities for each colored Dragon. So basically it would be like each Dragon can recruit a Dragon Knight and their abilities depend on what color Dragon they work for. That's gonna take some work. Of course I could leave it as a regular class that stands on it's own, rather than working for a Dragon. or maybe instead of working for a Dragon, the Knights will have Chromatic variations like Dragons.
In the most recent tweak of this class (4/8/1) I added a Lawful only restriction to the alignment prereq since I said the class was supposed to be fiercely loyal to their liege. Hmm... anyone think of a fiercly loyal chaotic character? I also added a few rules clarifications in Jump Attack and added the per day restrictions to Dragon's Roar and Explosive Spear. I also beefed up the diameter area effected by the Dragon's Roar by 10ft.

The Dragon Knight is a highly skilled, intelligent and loyal warrior that serves his country or liege with steadfast resolution. They train themselves to fight like the flying dragons, studying them to become warriors of the sky, awe inspiring with their grace and power. Honorable and trustworthy are the qualities associated with the Dragon Knights. Most Dragon Knights are trained by a central guild, although they train all manner of applicants sonsored by countries or rulers.
Dragon Knights almost always come from the warrior classes (Fighter, Barbarian, Paladin). Sometimes one sees a Knight come from a more unlikely class such as Druid or Sorcerer (Both are skilled at the use of the spear). Rogues and Wizards are the most unlikely to become Dragon Knights.
Dragon Knights are expected to be intelligent, fierce and unquestionably loyal to their cause or liege. NPC Dragon Knights are usually found either within an army or on their own carrying out an important duty for their liege.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Dragon Knights are proficient with all polearms. Also they are proficient with all types of     armor but no shields.

Improved Jump (Ex): Starting at 1st level, the Dragon Knight may ignore penalties for wearing armor to his/her Jump skill. Also,     for every two levels, the Dragon Knight may jump an extra 10 ft in vertical height (20 at 3rd, 30 at 5th, etc.). The Dragon Knight     may move 1/2 that distance horizontally. Thus a 5th level Dragon Knight could jump 30 ft. vertically and 15 feet horizontally.     However, to move the horizontal distance, the Dragon Knight must still jump vertically. If the Dragon Knight does not have the     room vertically, s/he may not make the jump with this ability.

Jump Attack: At 1st level, a Dragon Knight may leap into the air and strike down at an opponent 1/Day. The Knight gains an     extra Jump attack/Day for every three levels obtained (2 at 4th, 3 at 7th, 4 at 10th). Any attacks using this ability must land in the     same square as the target. The Dragon Knight jumps on his/her turn and spends one round in the air, landing just before his/her
next turn. The Knight may choose to strike any opponent within an area whose diameter is the horizontal movement rate of the     Knights jump attack. Upon striking, the Dragon Knight moves to the adjacent space from the direction he jumped. A Dragon     Knight is treated as flat-footed for the round after coming down from a Jump attack. Upon obtaining 6th level, the
flat-footed restriction no longer applies. While jump attacking, the Dragon Knight suffers no Attacks of Opportunity against
him unless the opponents reach is equal to the Knight jump height. Also you must take into account the opponents height.
Thus an ogre (a large creature) who is 10 ft. tall with a 10 ft. reach would be able to strike a Knight jumping 20 ft. anything higher     than that, the Knight suffers no AoO. Upon obtaining 8th level, the Knight no longer suffers Attacks of Opportunity against
him while jumping. The Knight has mastered Jumping to the point where they can change their position in mid air to react to
any attacks against them. Jump Attacks may only be made with Polearms. Also note that feats such as Cleave and Power Attack
do not apply to a jump attack.

Vertical Spear (Ex): At 2nd level, the Dragon Knight gains a +2 competency bonus to strike with a Jump Attack. The Dragon     Knight also gains +1d6 damage for every 10 feet jumped. Thus a 50 ft. jump attack with a longspear would cause 1d8+5d6, plus     any applicable bonus from magical weapons.

Flying Sunder (Ex): At 4th Level, the Knight may make a sundering attacks against an opponent while using a Jump attack.
The Knight gains a +2 bonus to damage for the force of the attack.

Jump Attack +1 (Su): At 6th level, the Dragon Knights jump attack is treated as +1 in regards to striking opponents with
Damage Reduction. This bonus stacks with a weapons magical bonus up to a maximum of +5, but the +1 bonus does not add
any bonus to hit or damage.

Explosive Spear (Sp): At 8th level, 1/Day the Knight may hurl his/her polearm into the ground causing a fireball at the point at     which the polearm strikes. The fireball is per the spell cast as a sorcerer equal to the character's Dragon Knight level.

Dragon's Roar (Sp): At 10th level, 1/day the Dragon Knight, while Jumping, may target a 30 ft radius area. Upon unleashing a
battle-cry, all within the targeted area suffer as if hit with a Power Word, Stun spell. The Dragon Knight must be able to speak in     order to use this power. If he is silenced or otherwise unable to speak, he cannot use this ability.
