Although quite small for his age, he's actually a highschool student at Domino High! He lives in the "Game Shop" with his Grandpa. He loves to solve puzzles and games. His best friends are Joey, Tea, and Tristan. They had been together since the day Yugi helped Joey and Tristan stand up to the bullies who were trying to hurt them. Since yugi is the right size a bully would pick on, he's always get in trouble with them.. until his grandpa gave him a mysterious item from Eypgt that was 5000 yrs ago, his life around bullies was no more to be seen again. It was called the "Millenium Puzzle", according to the lengends, if anyone who dares try to solve the puzzle and unlock it, then it will grant him/her mystical power that can change their life into brand new possibilities. And of course, Yugi was the one who unlocked it. ^_~ Eversince that day, yugi was no longer been defeated or picked by bullies ever again. Whenever he was in trouble, he will use the ancient power of the puzzle to transform himself to a more brave, determinded and taller ego of himself. At the first series, he uses IQ and puzzle to challenge for those who dares try to bullied anyone, expecially Yugi. In the second season, in the Duel Monster Tournament, he was the "King of Games", who can play Duel Monster very well cuz...he's a expert at it! Anyways, he has a major crush on Tea (anzu) in both anime and manga. In th eps showned, there are many hints that he really likes Tea more than a friend...and visa versa. ^_^ I won't spolied too much for u guys (I haven't seem them myself too!) but I'll tell u this...yugi ask Tea out for a date! But not for himself...instead it's for Yami! lol. I'll put up the manga pics for this chapter soon...^_~ |
