| Dear fugitives, On April 2, 2002, Haven will be celebrating its birthday. It doesn't feel like a year, does it? I hate it when my favorite fanfiction writers leave me in the lurch, so when I started this page I promised myself that I would update it as frequently as possible. I was thinking once a week or at least once a month. Unfortunately, that hasn't been possible; shortly after I launched Haven, I left home for college. My school doesn't have cable TV, and so I have been unable to continue my character research watching The Pretender. In addition, much of my time is taken up with classes, studying, and research projects. So recently, I made the difficult decision to put Haven, and my Pretender fanfiction on hold. On hold, mind, Haven is not shutting down. I definately plan to finish the Requiem series, if not immediately, then sometime in early July. I'd hate for you to miss out on the shocking conclusion, after all. I also plan to write a few more shorts over the summer, including "Woods" and maybe "Bullet". Thank you to everyone who continues, in spite of everything, to have patience with an erratic young fanfic writer, especially those who send feedback.
