INT.ORION ROOM/OFFICE.DAY

A young man is layback on a small chair in a cluttered, dark room. He is sat in font of a computer screen with various magazines, cups, toys and gizmos all other the desk and screen. He has long brown hair and is wearing a dark blue suit with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow.

 

The young man is watching something on a TV in the corner of the room. His laughter and the sound of Monty Python from the TV are the only sounds in the room. Suddenly a small beeping noise from the computer interrupts his laughter. Exasperated he sits up and looks at the screen that reads, “You have mail”. He begins to lazily tap at the computer. Finally the message opens up and we see over the man’s shoulder to the screen.

 

The message reads, “Orion, Its Hermes. Listen I’ve got some hot news for you. There’s an organ thief running around in Hells Eden.”

 

Orion groans and lazily types on the computer “Can’t the cops handle it”. He spins on his chair as a sound on his computer signals another new message.

 

The new message is from Hermes again. “You now how corrupt those guys are now, they’re useless…Orion, the reward is 25000 Earth dollars!”

 

The sound of the chair being pushed back is heard and we see the chair spinning as various messages appear asking Orion if he’s still there.

 

CUT TO

INT.GARAGE.DAY

Orion pulls on a pair of black gloves and turns on the ignition of the motorcycle he is sat on. It comes to life with a raw as the headlights switch on.

 

CUT TO

EXT.STREET.DAY

Homeless people are sitting on the street as cars drive by and rubbish roles around the floor. Suddenly Orion speeds around a corner narrowly missing a homeless man and a passing car. Both start to yell in the direction Orion went.

 

CUT TO

EXT.ON BIKE.DAY

Whilst driving. Orion tapes on a small screen integrated into the front of the bike. He pulls up information on the Organ Thief and where his last whereabouts were reported. He turns up the acceleration and heads to the place the organ thief was most likely to be, the boondocks of Hells Eden.

 

CUT TO

EXT.BOONDOCKS.DAY

Orion rides into a very rundown part of Hells Eden. The buildings were hardly standing and lots of cars were lying stripped or burning at the side of the road. Like the other areas of the city there were homeless people on the street but here that has increased twice over. They all start to star at Orion as he slowly drives along. He glances back and forth as the small scanner in his bike helmet scans the people on the street in search of the organ thief. Suddenly a scream comes from a small alley up ahead. Orion quickly follows the sound down the alley to its source.

CUT TO

EXT.ALLEY.DAY

He looks at a violated and torn corpse of a young woman. The noise of footsteps echo through the alley and Orion’s head snaps foreword to see a man in a long, worn trench coat with a bag over his shoulder stopped ahead looking back to Orion. Orion’s helmet zooms in on the man’s face and confirms it to be the organ thief. The man turns and starts to run with a stumble as Orion revs up his bike and begins to chance him.

                       

CUT TO

EXT.EXIT OF ALLEY.DAY

The organ thief run’s out of the exit of the alley as we hear the sound of the bike getting louder. Quickly the organ thief jumps in a nearby old car and after a few seconds of fighting with the ignition, starts the car and speeds off with the Orion in pursuit.

 

CUT TO

EXT.STREETS OF BOONDOCKS.DAY

The trench coat clad, organ thief continues to be chased by Orion through the streets of the Boondocks, missing cars and people alike as Orion tries to get up close enough to fire his gun without risking hurting any civilians. After a while the amount of buildings and people thin out as they reach the city limits.

 

CUT TO

EXT.OUTSIDE CITY APROUCHING THE WORM BATE DESERT.DAY

Finally they are totally out of the city and are speeding down a deserted desert road. They pass a sign hanging off a metal pole that reads “Worm Bate Desert, No ReTurN”. As they race through the desert, they see many decrepit and abandoned buildings, the stone and foundations worn by the elements of the harsh desert.

 

Orion pulls a gun from the holster strapped to his leg. Whilst controlling the bike with the other hand, he aims and fires. Two shots breaking through the glass at the back, causing the trench coat man to duck and several others hit the car boot. Orion tried to aim for the cars tires but it’s made difficult by the erratic driving from the organ thief in his desperate attempt to escape. Finally a single shot rips into the right rear tyre, causing the car to spin out of control and after hitting the rubble of on of the many forgotten buildings, the car plummets over the edge of a crevice, exploding as it hits the bottom.

 

CUT TO

EXT.TOP OF CREVICE.DAY

Orion stops his bike over the lip of the crevice and looks down for any signs of life or a body. He doesn’t see any and after revving his bike he drives off. Behind a small, crumbling wall, the organ thief crouches, trembling whilst he holds onto his bag.

 

CUT TO

EXT.DEMOLISHED BULDING IN THE DESERT.DAY

The organ thief peeks from behind some rubble to make sure the cost is clear and then stumbles out. He leans forward as he gasps for air; sweat runs down his face. He loses his grip on the bag he has slung over his shoulder and it hits the floor with a wet squelch. There is a thick reddish brown stain on the bag. Hurriedly he picks it up and flings it back over his shoulder.

 

There is a slight sound in the background of someone whistling it gradually begins to get louder and the organ thief looks around franticly. Slowly Orion walks around from behind a pile of rubble ahead of the organ thief. He flips open his wallet showing the organ thief the words “bounty hunter” written on a badge inside.

 

In a flash they both pull a gun on each other. The organ thief shakes whilst Orion smiles a cocky grin. There is a long silence except for the wind blowing the desert dust. The sweat begins to pool on the organ thief’s face then a girder nearby shifts and two shots ring out through the air.

 

We see both men’s gun’s lay on the floor, blood drops near the organ thief’s gun and then we see he has been shot in his side. He staggers to his feet and sees Orion doing the same; he too is bleeding as the hot bullet has embedded itself in his shoulder.

 

With a violent scream the organ thief runs at the bounty hunter. He swings but the Orion dodges and counters with a swift kick to the organ thief’s kidney, winding him and knocking him back. Moving around ready for the next attack Orion grins and motions for the organ thief to try again.

 

Aggravated, he charges again punching faster this time but he keeps missing because of the Orion’s swift evasions. Finally having enough, Orion blocks and parries the organ thief’s last punch and he goes flying over an edge with a fear filled scream.

 

CUT TO

EXT.BOTTOM OF CRAVISE.DAY

We see rocks hit the ground below and wait for the inevitable smash of the organ thief’s body hitting the ground but only more dust falls.

 

CUT TO

EXT.EDGE OF CRAVISE LIP.DAY

Looking up we see Orion has hold of the organ thief’s wrist, he looks up in fear as the bounty hunter points at the frightened mans head making a gun jester with a grin and then makes a bullet noise as he pretends to shoot the organ thief in the forehead.
