Malignant
time has all but stopped

in a world that has become inhospitable

a slow disease of the flesh

surrounding the heart

tainted in cellular caverns of

spreading rot

just go to sleep

just go to sleep

think of nothing else until dreams soak my eyelids

drenched in sweet, numbing ambivalence

pretend for everyone around

that everything is as it should be

make excuse after excuse

to make up for all the lies

numbed to all external stimuli

except for the choicest

Most Devastating Reality
